Why did they use red for the trimming and not orange? This has been an issue for a long time with Mattel. Even as far back as Elite 20 when Punk wore this SAME attire but with designs on the kickpads instead of straight black, Mattel still used a red trim design instead of the orange that Punk wore in real life. Nobody really knows why and Mattel has never explained. But nobody can find any actual pics of CM Punk wearing blue with red trim...so the general thought is that Mattel just screwed up and used red instead of orange. I mean, still a cool attire, just not 100% true to life.

Mattel made up the blue/red outfit and liked it, so it has made it to several different lines - basic, elite, rumbler etc. But Punk has never worn it.
