Quite like the idea of that. People could put it as part of their main show post too, so it's not too hard to find.
I'd maybe break it down further and offer 0-3/0-4 points, just to distinguish more from people just putting it in the middle of the road each time.

Like a kind of 'repliers' union' thing? That's a good idea, but We'd need to think of rules and regulations for it, and what not. I like it though. Maybe make a list and everyone on that list has to be commited to reply to everyone else on that list? Also, here's a rubric i was talking about. It allows people that maybe dont have time to reply to leave a reply by numbering 1-4 and giving a score for each category. Obvioulsy additional comments should be added. Let's say, you really like something that happened, then you can state that without going through the typical..."good presentation, nice poses, etc etc. I think this is a great way to make it easier for people to replying to people's shows. I find it funny also that "Spelling" is spelled wrong in the rubic.

Agreed, people can put it in their post to give people the option of using it or just leaving a standard reply. I know I feel like I'm saying the same things all the time, then when I get to the details of the show, i'm tired of writing or have forgotten lol

I think there's one huge glaring problem with pic fedding right now and its "time".
The #1 hurdle in any pic fed is arguably "time". Many of those who were around during the Pic Fed boom period simply dont have it. Whether its work, school, spouses, new interests or whatever....We simply dont have the time to sit down and shoot an event. A "good" show would probably take anywhere from 2-4 weeks at least to work on. Some longer then that. As big as arenas have gotten now days, a lot of us dont have the ability to have a permanent set up for or feds. So having an arena in your floor for a month or having to put it together and take it down can be quite annoying.
That being said, I think the guys from TWA had a great idea with their idea of combining feds to do 1-2 matches each to make one big show. It cuts down drastically on "time" plus getting burned out after a match or two isnt as likely as getting burned out after doing a huge show and what seems to be a joint event every month or so. That being said, while I like the idea that the guys from TWA had, it did have some flaws (IMO) that I wasnt big on. While the genre of wrestling they covered (80s Wrestling) was all the same, the styles were still very different. What I would have liked to have seen would be for Warsman, who had a WWF based Wrestlefest and Classic88, who had a WWF based Superstars, team up to do WWF type fed. Much like the WWF did in the 80s you have an "A team" and a "B Team". You give Wars the WWF Title and guys like Hogan, Warrior, Andre & Heenan family and let him run those storylines. Then you give Classic88 the IC Title, Savage, Rude, Roberts and HTM and let him run those storylines. Then when they're shows combined it would seem like a complete WWF Show.
With that, John's AWA fed and Mo's CWA fed had more of an "NWA like" feel to it because of their roster choice. Guys like Flair, Road Warriors, Hansen etc were used in both feds. So what I would have done would have them work together AWA + CWA = NWA fed. You've got 2 guys working on a "North division" and 2 guys working on a "South Division". Then at the end of the year you can do an ultimate joint show where you can have WWF guys vs NWA guys mega show.
So with that, I think more people should look for guys with "like ideas" (Classic feds, Indy feds, TNA feds etc) and join up to cut the work time in half.

Thanks for the acknowledgement G I thought it was an innovative way of fed ding that was freshand brought in some new blood as we'll. sadly with the state of things being the way they are here in the board it wasn't meant to last. But I will always be proud if what the TWA accomplished and the friends I made that we're a part of it.

What does everyone say then to a Pic Fed Union? I reckon it could work as follows:
1. A list of members is drawn up. Anyone can join at anytime, as we want this community to grow.
2. If you join, you are agreeing to view and leave feedback for every member's show within three weeks of it being posted (except for mitigating circumstances).
3. When a new show is posted, there will be a list of Pic Fed Union members for you to copy and tag in your show post, alerting the other members to your new show. e.g. @ titch @ dave @ tommy, etc. (Delete the space to activate the tag).
4. If a member fails to reply to your show in this period, let the Pic Fed Moderator know, and the dispute can be resolved via PM.
5. Failure to reply may lead to a month's suspension - if this occurs, Pic Fed Union members are not obliged to reply to your show, although may wish to do so.
That's just for an idea. The reply rubric can still be applied too. It shouldn't have had to come to this, but I feel that if it's managed properly and people get on board, it can be really good for the board. Especially with newer members being able to get (hopefully) guaranteed replies, as well as encouraging them to view the existing members' shows and leaving them feedback.
Let me know what you think, guys!

Another 2 things I wanna say: 1) Can each show, in the title, put the date of publish on it. I think this will keep alerting people when a NEW show is out and not just an OLD bumped one. 2) The Chat thread is a good idea. Perhaps in there people can publish backstage stuff or whatever in it, to save having ALOT of threads that people are going to fall behind and ignore. One place that everyone checks is better than 20 that people dont.

Let me know what you think, guys! No, this is dumb, so is the rubric. Just means shows we all work hard on will be getting crap replies. All I want is a reply that is 1-2 paragraphs long. Pointing out the good and the bad, things you liked, ways to improve. A union sounds really stupid. All you have to do is reply to a god damn show without just saying "very kewl 10/10". I know I'm slow to replying sometimes, but I always make sure to leave a good review when I do. I dont understand why people find it so hard.

The rubric deskjet discussed was more for those replies that say "very kewl 10/10". As he said, additional comments should be added, but a lot of people would stick to the same way that they reply anyway, a lot of which are good, detailed replies. I understand you may feel that the union is stupid, but I feel it's a more formal way of encouraging/reminding people to reply. Attitudesback got three replies in the first two weeks that WFW Impact was up. Fair enough, a few more people have replied since, which is good, but I feel that knowing that you'll get replies and good feedback is important, rather than watching tumbleweeds go past the board whilst your show sits there not being viewed. If lots of people feel this way, however, I'm happy to put another system in place/leave it as it is. Don't want it to feel like I'm forcing it on anyone, just trying to move the board forward.

I totally agree with fall I just didn't want everyone jumping on me when I said it. Seems to me you panicked when things got slow and asked asparagus to be mod but you rallied everyone for the time being and I don't understand why you just can't go by the simple rule get a reply give a reply !! Most guys only respond to their buddies stuff anyways and no newcomers are gonna reply to crap shows anyways !!!!!! We ain't reinventing the wheel here fellas you know!!!

You don't have to have a fed to be part of the Pic Fed board. Everyone's input is welcome.

Planning putting out the occasional match. I also run a dreaded "Youtube" fed with my YouTube channel with over 2350 subscribers, so I might know enough to give my 2 cents. I also try my best to keep up to date with feds.

It's a shame Titch even has to do this to be honest. Ya know Titch is just trying to make things better, and I applaud him for that, becasue he knows that this has been a perpetual problem throughout the years on this board. I'd be interested to see how this Union works
Is it possible to get a list of active feds. Active meaning at least one show a month consistently?
Also, I think these discussions are beneficial to generating interest on the board. Hell I'm filming again, lol

Attitudesback has done a fair few, and some other guys have started to do it lately. I've managed 9 in 10 months. Here's a rough list of people who have posted shows lately: BWR GWV WFW OTC OEX CPW GWF MWF MWFA WWEJ MXW Then there's others who post shows from time to time: TWA FIW And also coming soon: WTF BDW 3XW That's a hefty list. If most of those people reply, you've got 12+ replies. Throw in guys like Punk, Jack, etc, who reply, and you got a good amount of feedback. We could always trial it for a month or two to see whether it works?
