I know this is only January, but TNA's website doesn't have ANY TV tapings listed past February 23rd.
I do know they are going to England during that period. Maybe they will be doing more Television tapings over there than initially planned. If they do enough taping it could give them a couple of months worth of Impact events.
I know this is highly unlikely, but could Spike be cancelling TNA in hopes of luring WWE back to their network?
As much as I use to like the TNA product, over the last number of years they have eliminated everything that I liked about the company. With AJ Styles going to ROH, even temporarily, things aren't looking too bright for Dixie Carters tax write off.

There are some things that seem scary to me, as a TNA fan. With the rumors of Spike TV wanting Smackdown and now this, it is quite scary but I do sincerely hope that they get everything worked out.

I believe they are filming 6 weeks of impact in the UK. 2 impact shows per live event they are doing, but it certainly doesn't seem like a lot of time to find a new location, advertise and sell tickets for impact when they return to the States.
In my opinion, leaving the impact zone again is a huge loss. I thought the sound stage looked great on TV when they returned, even though the new one was a lot smaller.

I think TNA going back on the road is a bad idea on their financial situation. They're not making enough money to fully go on the road. If they decide to tape more than two shows in a venue, that might help but it'll still cost more than being on Universal Studios. TNA should have never left Universal Studios to begin with because it costs more to go on the road. Another thing that didn't help TNA was going to venues where they barely filled even half the place. If they have gone to smaller venues that could fill 1,000 maybe 2, 000 seats, they might have been better off. It looks better selling out a 2, 000 seat venue than barely selling out a 10, 000 seat venue. It seems that almost every thing that TNA tried to do to increase in attendance, increase ratings, have not worked out. I hope they can fix their problems but I honestly don't believe they can as long as Dixie Carter's in charge.
Sorry for being negative here TNA fans, but at least I didn't here and say "who cares". I gave my reasons with some positives cause I am enjoying the product a little more since Bischoff and Hogan left. I just think the person in charge is a complete moron who doesn't know crap about wrestling.

Spike and TNA just signed a multiyear deal in 2012. Unless "multiyear" only meant 2 years, then I don't think TNA is going anywhere as long as they are running. Spike pushing them out for WWE seems like a giant lawsuit waiting to happen.

TNA shouldn't go on the road again since it's what made them lose money in the first place. They should just settle in one place and that can be
their new spot. I'm hoping this company won't fall obviously AJ Styles thinks something is up with Jeff Jarrett leaving TNA.

Just to play devil's advocate here, TNN at the time (Spike now) did the exact same thing with ECW when they picked them up. They wanted to see if wrestling would do well on their network, so they could make a play for Raw back in 2000. Who knows what the contract states, but they've done it before, it wouldn't shock me if they did it again. |

What I meant by "who cares?" is that it doesn't matter where Impact ends up. The company isn't going to fold over the next two months. They'll have a venue to hold some tapings after the UK tour.
