Had some spare time and the mood struck me so I was able to work on Undertaker's shirt a little. I wanted it to be puffed out a bit at the waist like he had it sometimes in his early days. I'll try to get a look similar to his debut year if I can, since it's closest to 1989 when the line ended.

How did you enlarge Andres head? 3D printer by any chance?

I really like the new head on Andre, but I suggest toning down the detail of the hair so it looks more 80ish LJN quality so it fits in better with the other guys.

Forgot to mention I used the Hydrospan product to enlarge the heads. Its been discussed in length in other threads on this customs forum.
As for Andre's hair that may be a good point. However I ended up going this route partly because I had such a hard time getting his hair right. I may want to remove some of the fine detail a little bit as you suggested, but I'll have to see how it looks painted first. The paint might make it look better. If not I might consider filling in some putty in some of the spaces to tone it down. But I think sometimes people do over-exaggerate the "cartoonish" look of this figure line. There really was a lot of detail that went into the features such as wrinkles around the eyes or forehead lines etc. If you look at Snuka's, Orton's and Arcidi's hair for example, you'll see a lot of detail as well, but I do see what your saying.
Thanks

Incredible. Incredible. Incredible.
When you finish these I would like to send you 2 free cases for the figures to display them in...the type we use for our figures. You name the card color and style. These things deserve the best! Haha

Thanks Cincy for the compliment. I'm not sure yet how I will display these, but thank you so much for the offer. I will consider it for sure. I'm still developing my skills at adding the finishing touches, and painting will be a new venture for me when I get there.
BTW, did you and your team ever give the head enlarging a go? I remember some discussion about it. If I recall you were going to try with the Hasbro heads, which might work real good. I'd love to see some other LJN sized heads made, and I'm curious how others are doing it. Also, great job on your latest series of customs. Still some of the cleanest customs out there, and the packaging just takes it to another level.
Speaking of the heads, there's a guy out there who has a great customs collection, and he took interest in taking my extra Undertaker face off my hands to give to one of his customizers. So I look forward to seeing someone else's take on the Taker, using the same enlarged face. I still think the one I used isn't quite large enough though, so I may try to make another Undertaker later with a wider face.
Some others that I would like to try my hand at using enlarged heads: Jack Tunney (found an action figure that kind of looks like him) Mr. Perfect Ivan Putski
But really the possibilities are endless, with all the Jakks and Mattell figures out there.

I love all the effort you've put into these figures. They are looking fantastic. I would use a gesso spray on the figures as a neutral base coat; it can also be sanded. Can't wait to see how these turn out!

lousychildhood, preacher, Sandy - thanks for the comments. Started to put some paint on Andre. I'm not the best painter and I don't have that much experience, so this is kind of a trial run. Martel is shown just for size comparison.

Thanks Aaron. Martel is not a custom. I was just using him to mix some flesh tone paint.

Throughout the ages of the Wrestlingfigs forums there have been very few, but you are among them; An Artist.
This is my first time seeing your work, and I am speechless. This is amazing.

Andre is coming along brilliantly, great effort so far. Not much more to go at all.
I'm still looking forward to seeing the the other developments, especially taker.
