So yesterday I finally finished watching Season 9 after starting the series last May. This show is probably going down as my favourite ever, nothing even comes close, I love the show, I got attached to the characters from episode one, especially Jim and Pam, I wanted them to get together so badly and was happy when they finally did, even cried during their wedding episode.
Wasn't really a Steve Carrell fan at the start of it, but he won me over and I was so sad when he left even though I knew he came back, I still had goosebumps when he did. Pretty much everyone told me that it went downhill when he left. While the show had definitely peaked, I still enjoyed it especially Robert California and Nellie being added to the cast.
The cast was amazing, they all played their parts to perfection by the end of it, they all really grew into their characters.
So many favourite funny moments that I cant even count lol, Dwight catching Meredith and the bat in the bag, setting the fire alarm off and locking everyone in the office. Andy losing his crapand punching the wall lol, Robert Californias interview, Asian Jim.
Final few episodes of season 9 I was in tears because I knew the end was coming, I think the Office finale is the most satisfying Finale I've ever seen, tied pretty much everything up nicely, they used Michael Scott to perfection, having him their but not using him to overshadow the past 2 seasons.
One of the best show I've ever een, it's made me laugh, made me cry, made me care about these characters, what more could you want from w tv show and I'm just sad that it's over and that I didn't watch it while it was still on tv.
What are your memories of The Office and favourite moments?

i had a love/hate relationship with the show
steve carrell was perfect, but....the writing was so back & forth - giving up on ideas & story lines, it was very wishy washy IMO & drove me nuts at times
i liked a lot but also was angry that it wasn't better at times (Pam & Jim really drove me nuts at points as a couple, thought too highly of themselves)

Nah, I've yet to get Season 8/9, finished The Cell Games and felt like it was kind of a definitive ending, with Goku not wanting to comeback, probably going to finish it later this year, maybe get GT too because its just being released in the UK

I have never teared up during a movie or show but Michael Scott's departure almost got to me.

The Office is and always will be my favorite show. I watch it all the time, I had Season 9 for Christmas and I'm currently watching it for the second time. I love the way the show ended, it ended the way a show as perfect as The Office should.

I have never had an emotional attachment to a show like i did with the Office, & I don't think I ever will again. I can't ever say anything bad about this show, but I'll be the first to admit it definitely wasn't the same after Steve left. But I will say this, I don't think any show has ever tied up so many loose ends like they did right before Steve left & in season 9. I think this is why the show will always hold up for me, it answered all of our questions.

I'm thinking about rewatching it.
I started it on Netflix while the final season was going on and missed a few episode of the last season so I may go back just for continuity as I was so invested in those characters I feel like I feel off toward the end. (Excuse that long winded sentence)

I enjoyed the series very much up until the last couple of seasons. I never liked Andy, maybe it's because I'm not too fond of the actor who plays him. I just never could get into him as being the "boss". Also I didn't really care for when Michael became more of a friend to everyone. I liked it better when the staff didn't like him because he was so, I dunno, sleezy. I agree with the whole Jim and Pam thing, they were cute at the start but towards the end I just wanted them to go away. Dwight always ruled! I loved the Dwight character and that made the show for me. I am glad, however, that he didn't get his spin-off. I think it would have tarnished the character. And who doesn't love Kevin? I laughed every time he was on.
I did like the finale and how all the loose ends tied up like everyone else mentioned.

Started following on TV around Season 3/4. Absolutely one of my favorite shows of all time. I've watched the entire series more times than I can count. Steve carrell is a genius as Michael Scott. James Spader in the later years is jng hilarious. The only episode I've only watched once is the finale and that was when it aired. I am too scared I will cry again while re watching. LOL. Best Comedy tv show ever in my book

I too had a love/hate relationship with the show. I'll mention a few things that to me were noteworthy.
- The Jim/Pam relationship as mentioned already was a great dramatic point in the show early on but really went south after they got married.
- To me the series started to dip when they ran the Michael Scott Paper Company angle and didnt pick up again until season 7, Season 6 was abysmal for me.
- The last few episodes of Michael Scott in season 7 will forever be my favorites, the episode with the Threat Level Midnight movie may be my favorite, so hillarious.
- I was originally a fan of Andy as manager during season 8, but then in season 9 they went a totally different direction with his character almost giving up on him. The writers made it hard to like him at the end, made him out to be such an bunghole, and not in the funny kind of way.
- Always loved whenever they did a music bit during the show. I think those are some of the greatest moments. (Andy singing I will remember you, Andy/Kevin/Daryl jamming in the warehouse, Michael Scott's Farewell song, etc...)
- Finally Im glad the show went out when it did, It was clear for a while they were running out of stories without killing the interest in the characters so im glad they ended it without totally ruining the series)
