I'm just worried they will plug it more than the WWE app. You can pretty much guarantee that.

I think you share a lot of the same concerns as most people but I haven't ordered a PPV since whatever Mania it was that HHH fought Cena. I just got tired of ordering them and being let down. That and the price was ridiculous. I think it'll be easier to handle them sucking if I'm only paying 10 per month. The old content will make up for it. And I initially was thinking about how they could start caring less about the PPV quality but then I considered that these are STILL available to non subscribers. I would think it would be motivation to try HARDER to get folks to still order them. They run the risk of people eventually growing tired of weak PPV events and not only canceling the network subscriptions, but nobody bothering ordering it who does no have the network. I get the feeling that WWE is throwing a lot of their eggs in this basket and they seem to REALLY want it to succeed. I hope I'm right in feeling that they are going to try to go all out. But I hope these things with a grain of salt because I know how lazy they can get.

I personally think this is the future of PPV's. No one can afford 50 bucks a month. With these you only spend 10 and wwe cuts out the middle man.
All they need is about a million subscribers to break even, after that it's all profit. I think they will surpass that, especially overseas. Foreign countries such as the UK, Japan, India, ect are starved for wrestling. They will get over a million from overseas alone.
This is a big deal for the WWE, and I truly believe they will be successful.

I think the concern of PPV quality going downhill is a real one. That was my first thought. Then again, I come away completely disappointed about 90% of the time nowadays. Nothing good happens anymore on them. Ever.
MITB '11 had me amped afterwards. I can't remember the last time I felt that way after a PPV before that or since. I liked the Rumble when Del Rio won and thoguht it was a good ending but overall just so so ppv

The quality of PPVs have been garbage for the past year anyway even with the $60 price tag a pop. Even if it doubles in the next few years a PPV and all that content for $20 a month is still a great deal. You pay 60? I pay 49.95, thats for HD too

I don't think it will last Why? Well as a pay only network it is better off being as a part of a regular cable package. Look at the Disney Channel,it was originally a Premium channel but as time progressed it became a part of mainstream cable

This is WWE's answer to Netflix more than anything else.
