WF Pic Feds Discussion Thread

Hey everyone, 

I'm a returning member of the boards, my old handle was Sick Boi. I'm trying to recover my old account right now, I'm hoping for the best there. I'm a text fed hall of famer, I used to run a text fed (that included pictures too) called RCW. It ran for several years and I was very proud of it. Coming back, I see that the Text Fed board doesn't exist, which is kinda disappointing. I've gotten to a point in my life where I've been able to finally resume collecting figures but sadly, my entire previous collection of figures, customs, custom built arenas, everything....it's gone. I'm literally starting from scratch. But I LOVE fantasy booking & I LOVE figures, I'm trying to get into photography so I can create a high quality figure fed. My favorite back in the day was Tazmaniac & Freestyle's FCW. That is definitely my biggest inspiration. But nowadays, there's so many different avenues of creating this content....so I'm going to experiment with it. Can anyone here point me to programs you use to edit text over photos or create timed slideshows? I want to make both videos & "click next" style, like FCW used to do. Slideshows I don't like because it's timed and the viewer can't control how fast they're viewing it. I've also thought of a comic book style, with comic book panels & text blocks. I don't know, but any advice on where to start with programs to create videos with pictures, to edit pictures, & create graphics. I'd greatly appreciate it. Truly. 

Okay, so my new brand is called DREAM MATCH. I've gotten a YouTube channel under Dream Match Figs & will have an Insta as soon as it's done bugging out when I attempt to create an account. My figure fed will be under the name WWA. World Wrestling Alliance. The concept is that (because I'm unable to custom brand my rings/accessories immediately) there is now an alliance across wrestling companies akin to the old National Wrestling Alliance in the 80's. Hell has frozen over and Vince is gone from WWE, HHH is in charge, and after failing ratings & empty arenas.....he's allowed WWE to enter into an agreement with AEW. A new alliance is created under the World Wrestling Alliance, with both companies hosting events & providing equipment/facilities/equipment. It's my excuse for WWE/AEW branding in the photos since I don't yet have the ability/resources to customize my setup. Also, WWA will be "timeless" and will feature talent from the past. 

I'm waiting on my pre-order for the new xtremesets 3.5 diorama before I can begin filming full on shows. But until the then, I've filmed some press conference stuff & some teaser photos. Do I just post show announcements & cards & press releases on the main discussion board? 

The World Wrestling Alliance's debut programing will be something I've never seen in a figure fed & will be something that will surely be lots of work. The DREAM-1 Invitational Tournament. A single block, ten man round robin style tournament akin to the G1 Climax. It will feature 10 of the best wrestlers in the world (the best ten I have lol) and will run around 45 matches or so. Also, WWA will feature loose weight divisions with the three main divisions being Heavyweight, Junior Heavyweight, & Openweight. Here's a teaser photo of the tournament lineup with the 9 announced wrestlers, there will be a tenth mystery entrant revealed on night 1. 



Any guidance or advice on starting this is greatly appreciated. I'm starting from scratch and I realize this is highly ambitious but I've literally waited years for the opportunity to create something like this after I stopped doing RCW. So it might be from scratch & might be a lot of work, but creating this stuff makes me happy. I've noticed this board isn't crazy active but hopefully I can at least add a little activity from myself. Thanks guys!
