A title unification match between WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose and WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston is likely for the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view next month.

I'd have Ambrose win this. Unbiased opinion. Ambrose has been used as a weak link to put Reigns over. Keep this going for too long and Ambrose is too far down in the mudd to get back up. If you have him win this and unify the titles he will still be somewhat credible and relevant.
Big E is gonna be a big star with or without the title unification done by him. 100% sure Big E is gonna win the world title before 2016. Ambrose is gonna have a harder time with the booking he has had. Give Ambrose this, make sure people don't forget about him.

If it's true, I really hope not. WWE could benefit having two mid card titles. Have the Intercontinental Title be on the level it was in the 80's where on house shows would be the main event and have the United States title be on the level that the European title was when it came out, be a title for the mid card/lower card to get a small push. If they end up unifying them, I see Big E Langston winning. Honestly, I wouldn't have a problem with either Ambrose or Langston winning as I am big fan of both guys.

I hope so, it seems like they cannot live with having both midcard titles. If this is true, this puts Dean Ambrose in a better position for a storyline going into WrestleMania, being that the Shield won't have any titles. Additionally, they seem to be pushing Big E Langston pretty strong right now, so if anybody's going to be the first unified Intercontinental/United States Champion, it'd be good to have him in that position.

I just thought of something funny, they might as well get rid of the Night of Champions since if this becomes reality, there would only be four titles defended on that PPV. So yeah they should get rid of the Night of Champions PPV. Let's see if this news is actually true, as I think it would be a mistake to unify those titles since there would be even more wrestlers pushed aside and a lot of wrestlers could benefit from having both mid card titles around.

I think Ambrose should win it since it would make sense if they still want to do the Shield 3 way match at WM for the IC and or US Title.

I know I'm probably in the minority, but I hope the US title is the one that stays around. I just like the name and look a lot better than the IC title (I hate that white strap).
Hopefully Ambrose wins too. I don't really like him, but Big E just really irritates me.

I say put it in the Chamber with four other guys. Ambrose, Langston, Ziggler, Sandow, Fandango, & Mysterio. Comes down to Langston/Sandow/Ambrose. Langston eliminates Sandow with The Big Finish and as he's getting up from the pin fall, Ambrose catches Big E from behind with the Headlock Driver for the quick victory.

No shock here. This has been coming for weeks now. Big E is going over. I think Big E sucks, so this is disappointing. A big part of me still thinks we are going to see Reigns vs Big E at Mania.

Keep both titles around. The ic title is for upper mid carders ready for the main event while the us title is for lower mid carders who don't have a shot at the big title, similar to the euro title back in the day.

You idiots who don't know a damn thing about the CoBo Arena & The Cow Palace can tank on WWE's version of the US title as much as you like, but don't speak of that which you do not know. There were no hotter titles than the various incarnations of the NWA United States Championship for over 30 years, The World's title clearly had more prestigue, but the wars that were fought for the titles that embodied the wrestling capital of the world compose entire discs of the backbone of Professional Wrestling's history.

I hope Big E wins, hes been on a good hot streak as of late and lately has proven himself worthy of holding both titles by performing well in big matches. I don't think the titles mean anything when the SHIELD has them, as they are popular enough as a unit that they don't need any titles to elevate them.
And dude, chill about Ambrose. He's not even that good. In WWE he hasn't proven once on the mic or in the ring that he is a top dog.
