Its a known fact that tag-team wrestling is going the way of the dinosaur. I personally am a fan of good tag team wrestler. So my question is Who do you is the best Tag Team Wrestler is? By this I mean a wrestler who made his career primarily in a tag team. That means people like Hart and Michaels would not qualify.Who would you say it is?

The best Tag-Team specialist? That's a great question. Sadly with Professional Wrestling being more art than sporting contest, one can't merely check a list of accolades I'n the tag division on a wrestler's biography page & say that's the end of that. It comes down to defining the criteria of a great Tag-Team wrestler.
So my question is: How does one define such skills in a worker?

A lot of the great tag wrestlers were also great singles wrestlers (Davey, Owen, Neidhart, Bret, Shawn, Marty, Billy, Dynamite, Anderson etc). The greatest tag-exclusive wrestlers are guys like Hawk and Animal.

Maybe Billy Gunn. Always flopped as a singles guy, but had one of the greatest tag runs in history, and a really good tag run before that.
Owen Hart, similar story.
Cody Rhodes is getting there too.

It comes down to defining the criteria of a great Tag-Team wrestler. So my question is: How does one define such skills in a worker? Only criteria I would define is they had to work primarily in a tag team. Not somebody who started in tags then had multiple world title runs. I'm looking for people's opinion on who the best tag team guy is. For example I said Arn Anderson , yea he had a couple TV title runs but when you think Arn Anderson you think multiple tag team titles with multiple partners.

Billy Gunn is a good choice as he was involved with 3 successful teams but always fell to the wayside outside of teaming. Ditto for Arn Anderson, Stan Lane, Barry Darsow and Bobby Eaton. who were all involved with great teams but floundered on the singles scene.

In no particular order....
Billy Gunn Tony Garea Bobby Eaton Devon Dudley Marcus Bagwell
All five of those men seemed to find the most success in tag teams more so than singles.

the Dangerous Alliance was one HELL of a faction. yeas it was! and it pisses me off to this day how quickly it ended up dissolving. yup.....the DA still had serious legs with an awesome roster that was easy to change to push folks....but WCWs stellar booking committee of genuine nut cases and people that hadn't been outside since 1982 thought differently. bless em.

Kane. Somehow he got over with X-Pac, Daniel Bryan, RVD, Foley, Undertaker, and Show (to some extent).
