So I got this andre the giant figure for 20 bucks ( Canadian lol). Problem is I don't know too much about it. I have never seen one like this in person so I figured for 20 bucks it was worth it. I researched on eBay and found that there are a few available, some as high as 70 bucks. Obviously I realize that that doesn't mean that it's worth that much. Just wondering what you guys think? I believe this was tied in with a video game promotion. Any feedback or info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I believe it came with SVR 2006 or 7. The figure itself is just R3/RA Big Show's body with Andre's head, it wasn't until much later that they gave him an appropriate body. Edit: This was on the database: It says 2004 so I'd think it came with the original Smackdown VS Raw but Wfigs tends to be wrong with dates sometimes.

I'm pretty sure this was as Smackdown vs Raw exclusive offer type thing. I'm not 100% on how you received it or if it was an in store deal but, 20 bucks is good. Straight re release of Classic Series 1. I know jakks did a lot of those bagged figure give away.

^^^^ thanks guys. I actually got it from kijiji ( similar to craigslist). I agree it's nothing special to look at. It's a pretty dull looking figure but I figures for 20 bucks and seeing how I haven't seen it before it was worth it. Thanks again and keep the feedback coming.

Yeah it was an apparent exclusive with the first SVR released in late 2004, same figure as CS1. They gave him the correct attire in CS6 in 2005. The prototype still had knee pads & wrist tape but the final product had neither which was a nice surprise.
