I'm kind of bummed out about this considering how much I'm looking forward to the movie. However, one of my main concerns about this movie was that it did seem like WB was fast-tracking it which often isn't good for the story. This extra time should allow the writers to fully flesh out the story/script before it goes into production.

I'm glad in one way, I think Age of Ultron will easily be next year's biggest comic book movie. I'm not saying that Batman vs. Superman can't compete with it but it'll be nice to have something to look forward the following year. They did the same with Man of Steel if I remember. It was supposed to come out in 2012 but with The Avengers and 'Rises on the cards, it would have been too crowded.
If they need to take their time and get it right, I'm all for it. I just hope the delay has nothing to do with the direction of the movie. This late in the game, DC and Warner Bros should know where they're going with their franchise.

Looking forward to this movie big time. The delay sucks but they wouldn't do it if it wasn't necessary.
All the Affleck hate is as hilarious now as it was then, if not more.

I'm a bit disappointed, but this will give Affleck and Gadot more time in the gym.

I just hope they sit back, take a deep breathe, and take their time with this. It could potentially be huge, but I can't shake the feeling that they are so dead set on rushing it that they're gonna end up with steaming bag of sh*t.

At this point, I'm about 90% convinced that this delay will ultimately result in DC/WB shooting Batman Vs. Superman and Justice League back-to-back and releasing them in consecutive summers. If that's the case, I can be patient for an extra 10 months, but honestly I'm most excited for the potential of Affleck-directed Batman solo movies.

What does that mean though? Like we'll get a post credit scene or we'll get like a Punisher Dirty Laundry short at the end of Batman/Superman? Kind of a weird strategy imo. Versus just interjecting characters into those Universes like with Thor. I do think shooting B/S and JLA back-to-back is probably a good idea. I'm not a huge proponent of cliffhanger story telling though. It's not TV, it's film and you have to wait a year to see the story play out. I get why they do it, I like money too, but it's obnoxious when it feels forced, like in The Hobbit. That being said, The Empire Strikes Back is one of my favorite movies of all time, so I guess if it's done correctly then so be it. This is now so far away. Out of sight, out of mind. Where's my damn Flash movie?

Sounds more like a Batman movie/live action DCAU movie and I'm actually pretty okay with that.

Im just worried that they are struggling with the direction they want to go in. wouldn't they have been better establishing Cavill as Supes in a sequel next year?I mean Summer 2015 could easily have hosted the return of Batman too in his own movie.
have cameos/teasers from GL & Wonder Woman in MOS 2 and maybe Flash in Batman.
