Rob’s Room
Rob’s Mom’s House
Little Olympia
“What do I do?!”
Renée couldn’t help it- the girl was pacing and she was breathing heavily, hyperventilating and all that! Renée dropped herself on the bed beside Rob and sighed, dropping her head on his shoulder. “I’ve never been in a wrestling match, let alone a fight. What do I do?”
“Well.”, Rob shrugged, wrapping his arm around her. “… You fight.”
“I can see it now. I’m going to freeze up and Cam Nitta is just going to hit me.”
“That’s not gonna happen.”
“Yes it is!”, Renée shot back, looking right at Rob as she nodded her head. “How was I supposed to know that they’d book me into a match for going on all ninja on a couple dudes?”
“Kinda figured I’d take care of that for you, eh?”
“Yeah, a bit.”
Rob hugged Renée real tight and gave her a big, fat wet one on the cheek. “It’s gonna be fine, babe. Me and Penny are gonna teach ya’ how to kick someone’s butt and get away with it.”
“But you don’t get away with it…”, Renée trailed. “I’m sorry, but you don’t exactly have the best track records- just saying.”
“I’m trying to fix that!”, Rob shot out, his eyes all o.O
Renée pinched Rob’s cheek, “Aww honey, I know you are!”
Renée closed her eyes and sighed against her boyfriend, really trying to get herself into a comfortable snuggle when something protruded from the left of Rob’s thigh.
“Is that a boner?”
“… Uhm…”
Renée smiled softly and got herself real comfy under Rob’s snuggle, really getting to him as close as she could. “It’s alright, babe. I like your boner!”
“My boner is all yours!”
With a grin, Renée shot herself into the air, the girl actually managing to suspend herself in mid-air for a good moment before she turned her attention back to her waiting boyfriend on the bed, kicking her heels as she jumped him with all the intention of landing her lips right over his.
Rob’s got the new WFWF Revolution’14 game for the PS3 as an early birthday present from his older sister. And just like any good Jedi, Rob was going to teach Renée how to wrestle by using the creation suite from the WFWF line of games.
Anyway, Renée wanted to create herself in the game, but Rob offered her last year’s game instead.
“What’s the difference?”
“Well, it’s really just an update of last year’s game.”
“So it’s the same game as the one you already have?”
“But with different wrestlers.”
“Is that all?”
“The Road to Superbrawl’s been replaced with the Kyzer-Drazk Era Mode.”
“And what’s that?”
“A time in wrestling that’s sorely missed today for being groundbreaking and revolutionary.”
“And that means what to me?”
“You get to relive classic matches.”
“And what was the one in the game before that?”
“The Road To Superbrawl.”
“What’s that one like?”
“You get to guide a character to win the WFWF World Championship on Superbrawl.”
“That’s cool!” Renée shouted out as she stood up from Rob’s floor and picked up last year’s WFWF game from Rob’s bookshelf. “Let’s play that. I wanna be the champion!”
Rob pushed himself off the floor, got the game from Renée, and popped it into his PS3. “Here’s the thing.”
“There’s a thing?”
“Yeah, kinda.”, Rob shrugged. “The game doesn’t let you play that mode if you use a girl.”
“What?”
“Yeah, it’s kind of stupid.”
“But couldn’t you do that back in the old games?”, Renée asked, looking over at Rob as he shrugged down right next to her.
“Yeah, but something about the developers not being comfortable with that stopped it from happening.”
“Why?”, Renée shot out, finding herself reasonably annoyed. “It’s a video game? It isn’t like it’s real.”
“But it’s wrestling!”
“So?”
Rob didn’t know what to say to that.
Renée popped from her spot on the floor and looked over through all of Rob’s old wrestling video games. Renée held up each title, working through the list by year and by promotion.
WFWF 2K13
“Can a girl win a belt in this game?”
“No.”
WFWF (OVER)Loaded
Renée picked up another title. “Can a girl win a belt in this game?”
“No.”
… It went on…
WFWF (Re)Loaded 2.0
“Can a girl win a belt in this game?”
“No.”
… For a while…
WFWF: Loaded
“Can a girl win a belt in this game?”
“No.”
… It took them a lot longer than either of them would have liked.
WFWF: Consequences Will Never Be the Same (Game of the Year Edition)
“Can a girl win a belt in this game?”
“No.”
“What is wrong with you?”
Renée popped her head back to Rob’s shelf, working her way through Rob’s video games so far in that she was starting to go through Playstation 2 titles.
“Dude, does your PS2 still work?”
“Why?”
Slowly, Renée reached out for one of the older titles from Rob’s shelf. She used her hoodie to dust it off as she handed it over to Rob.
WFWF: Forever Unscarred.
In one fluid motion, Rob’s eyes popped out of its socket as his jaw drop in outter shock. “I f*cking forgot about this game!”
“So, can a girl win a belt in this game?”
“Not only can a girl win the WFWF Championship, but you can use her in the career mode.”
“F*ck yes- let’s do this!”.
Rob plugged in his old Playstation 2 and it wasn’t long until they slipped Forever Unscarred into the disk-tray and fed it the hungry mouth of the clunky black box.
Rob and Renee sighed a little bit when the old Playstation 2 logo popped on; on one hand, it’s been such a long time so for sure they were stoked to see it, but on another, it was a sigh of relief that the machine actually read the disk.
The old Felo-de-se opening video game on, but Renée hit the Start-button and skipped it.
“I wanted to watch it!”
“I’m sorry babe.”, Renée said, reaching out to touch Rob’s cheek. “But I really don’t care.”
“Like ever?”
“No, just right now.”
Rob sighed in relief and snuggled next to Renée. The menu screen came on; it featured columns of various game-modes set behind a barbed-wire backdrop with a small screen on the upper-left side that showed different wrestlers. There was Exhbition Mode, Career Mode, Creation Mode, and your standard Options, which was particularly neat and quite fitting to the time since the blood option was automatically set to on.
Renée didn’t even miss a beat. The moment things seemed perfectly booted, Renée dragged the D-Pad down with her thumb, passing through all the different modes until she stumbled upon Create-A-Wrestler. She clicked it, set the gender to female and just ran away with it.
Unlike Slanted, Renée was a pretty picky gamer. And in most cases, if there wasn’t any room at all to play as a girl, then there was no reason for her to even bother with a title, regardless of how much Slanted and the rest of the world could ever hype it up. So with all that, it was easy to see how comfortable Renée naturally was with creating a character- over half of the games she owned required her to do it before anything else.
Renée already knew what she wanted. She chiseled away for a good half hour, maybe forty-five minutes.
“Oh my God!”, Renée shot out when she started working on her attire. “I can work with layers?!”
Renée really took her time with the clothes. Making sure that there was no way she would miss out on anything, she actually took the time to play around with different outfit styles, really liking the way the creation suite blended clothes together.
She took up a good hour, but Rob didn’t seem to care. If anything, seeing Renée just run off and do her own thing on a video game just reminded him of why he fell in love with her in the first place. Not only was she friggin’ pretty, but she was a big enough of a nerd to know how to properly assemble a character in a video game, a wrestling video game.
“Dude, why are you smiling?”
“I have the best girlfriend ever, that’s why!”.
“You’ve got a lot of characters.”
“… I was busy.”
Renee made her way through the character-selection screen. She had decided it was best to start off with a couple of matches to get used to the control set-up before actually starting the Season Mode.
And with that, the two of them started with the basic Exhibition Mode one-on-one.
“No, dude.” Renee said, still going through the characters. “It’s actually kind of cool. With the amount of wrestlers you made, you kinda don’t need the ones that are built into the game.”
Rob blushed, grinned, and perked-the-f*ck-up! “Exactly- and that’s what happened! A lot of people did that and it got sooo crazy with all the mods that they developers had to eventually incorporate it into the game.”
“Dude, don’t you love when that just happens? When us.”, Renee paused to point at the both of them. “You and me- the fans! Our people… It’s just such a beautiful thing when it comes together in such a way that the fans stick it through and guide it towards their development.”
Rob wrapped his arm around Renee and pulled her in for a warm cuddle. “And very soon babe, we’re going to have our own fans!”
“Oh dude, it’s sooo happening.”
Rob and Renee high fived and in perfect unison, screamed into the air, “WE LOVE US!!!”
The two of them were a bit baked and they just let it all out in a nice burst of laughter, holding on to each other so tight that in their closeness and the matter of their mouths being open from all that laughing, they just naturally started kissing… And then it became heavy enough to be a full-on make out!
Hands were crawling up and down limbs, slipping through layer(s) of clothing, buttons were opening, hooks eventually unhinging, jackets tossed and it was easy to see where this was going already.
…
Coooooough.
…
Coooooough.
…
The dweebs were too busy canoodling with each other to notice the sparkly orb of teal light, cutting into the room, hurling and spinning, like a superball.
The orb of light knocked into Rob and Renee, breaking them apart before they could remove their pants.
“Ouch…”, Renee said, on her back now as she held herself up with her elbows
“… The f*ck?!”, Rob said, on his belly
The teal orb strolled between Rob and Renee and with a gentle push, the orb shattered into a thousand pieces of kush-dust, knocking anyone close by with a nice, clean hit.
“Woah…”
Celeste Cuddlepunk emerged from the dust and turned her head around, assessing first Renee and then Rob, who freaked out at the very sight of her that he hightailed it and jumped behind his girlfriend.
“Dude, it’s just a pixie.”
“I don’t care- now, if it was a werewolf or a zombie, I would sooo be cool with it, but that is a fairy and they freak me out!”
“I’m a Pixie and there’s a difference.”
“I’m not buying that!”, Rob said, slumping now behind his topless girlfriend.
Renee reached out for her hoodie and covered up, “So, what’s going on?”
Celeste fluttered a little bit closer and hunched out to gaze at Rob before looking at Renee, “Are you sure he’s okay?”
“Yeah, he’s just been freaked out ever since I showed him that Spice Girls video.”
“The one with the box?”
Rob peeked out from Renee’s shoulder and pointed at Celeste. “You hear that? She’s got a box! The f*cked up box that takes children and crushes them up.”
“Even I’ll admit that the video was pretty creepy, but I assure you I’m not going to put you in a box.”
“What if that’s what you want us to think?”
“Penny trusts me.”
“You’ve got a point.”
“Enough, you two.”, Renee shot out. “I’m going to ask this again: What’s going on?” Renee turned to Celeste. “Like I like you and I don’t want to be rude, but seriously, what are you doing here?”
Celeste kept herself where she was, looked away from Rob and replied to her, “Penny sent me to check in on you guys. See how the whole training thing was going?”
“What do you think we’ve been doing?”, Rob and Renee asked at the same time
“It looked like the two of you were about to have sex.”
Rob and Renee looked at each other and grinned, shrugging it off with a temporary dose of swag. “Yeah, we were about to do that.”
Celeste turned her head and facepalmed a little. “And you were playing video games before that!”
“We were training!”
“No, you were procrastinating. That’s different.”
“Renee was going to do the Season Mode.”
Celeste charged before the dweebs and stopped just dead short of their noses; holding her clenched fists against her hips as she leaned forward and looked at the two of them. “I really didn’t want to do this, but the two of you leave me with no choice!”
“She’s going to put us into a box, babe!”, Rob said, really squeezing Renee now
“You bet your butt I’m going to put you in a box!”
And with that, the Weed Pixie closed her eyes and puffed herself out of existence; a sudden snap sharp enough to cut through the fabric of reality to literally suck every little thing around it into its hazy and thunderously neon void.
There was nothing but darkness for the first few seconds. Bits of light sparkled through the darkness, some of these small snaps of light started to coagulate together into form and shape. The coagulated mass of light extended itself, stretching itself outwards until it completely covered the darkness. The light began spinning itself around it, holding up the darkness into a tiny, little ball that looked like it was struggling from the inside. Slowly, the darkness grew into form, color, and texture and the sheet of light melted away revealing a fully-formed, three-dimensional world shaped by the polygons and pixels of an outdated wrestling game…
“The f*ck?!”, Enchanted shot out as she mysteriously found herself along a hallway with Slanted and Celeste.
“Oh, cool!”, Slanted shot out, pointing out to Enchanted. “You’re in your ring gear.”
Enchanted looked down as saw that she was actually wearing her ring gear. “I guess I am- wait a sec, where are we?”
Since the engine of WFWF Forever Unscarred was not designed to accommodate a small enough height model needed for a proper pixie, the game had shrunk Celeste down into the lowest height possible; it was like someone had made a CAW of the weed pixie and appropriated her size to wrestling’s favored masked jumping bean.
“I’m not really supposed to be this short.”
Enchanted walked over Celeste and leaned down, her neck stretched out as she gave the pixie the glare of an annoyed older cousin. “Where are we? I don’t know about Slanted, but I think I just might freak out.”
“We’re in Slanted’s Playstation.”, Celeste replied. “We’re in the video game.”
“No way?!”, Slanted shot out, running up to the weed-Pixie with enough excitement that he picked her up and spun her around. “This is seriously the coolest thing ever!”
“Thanks. Glad to know you’re not afraid of me anymore.”
“We’re still in a box, you know?”, Enchanted said, standing up and crossing her arms
“I don’t mind this box, I’ve had a lot of fun with this box.”
Enchanted closed her eyes and chuckled.
“You are returning us to the real world, right?”
“Yes, but only after Enchanted’s learned how to wrestle.”
Slanted put Celeste down and started walking down the hallway. “… I can’t believe it. We’re actually here.”
Slanted turned back to Enchanted and Celeste, who were following after him, and started walking backwards as he said to them, “This is the actual backstage area of the game! This is where you start the Season Mode.”
“So what happens here?”, Enchanted asked. “You walk around and pick a fight with random wrestlers.”
“Pretty much.”, Slanted shrugged before turning to the right and pointing to the front doors. “This way!”
“We’re actually here…” Slanted said as he lurched over to the section he assumed was the upper right side of the screen…
“Holy crap!” Slanted squealed as he dragged himself over to the top of the area and-
“It’s all here!” Slanted said, gazing around as he made another rush
Enchanted grabbed the back of his hair. “No way, dude. I’m kinda nauseous from having to go through loading screens. We’re staying put, and then were going to piss off a wrestler, and we’re going to fight and I’m going to kick his a**, so come on.”
Enchanted turned on her heels and led the group down the hallway.
“This is so awkward.”
“What is?”
“Being in a video game.”, Enchanted replied. “Like I know I can pretty much do all sorts of insane stuff, but it’s like my movement is so limited.”
“Like there’s a whole chunk missing from the step?”
“Kinda.” Enchanted said, still marching forward until she stopped just a few feet short of a wrestler who was aimlessly standing in the middle of the hallway. His hair slicked back and wearing what looked like ridiculously expensive clothes, he looked every bit the way he was supposed to: an arrogant Eurasian.
Enchanted leaned back next to Slanted and asked, “I don’t recognize that guy. Is he a real wrestler?”
“That’s one of my created wrestlers, Marc Douchington.” Slanted said, walking up Marc Douchington, the created wrestler apparently not minding Slanted at all; just wobbling, waiting for someone to press O.
"His ringname was The Douche."
Slanted slipped on a pair of Tenth Doctor Brainy Specs and inspected Marc Douchington. “Something’s not right: my created characters aren’t supposed to be here. The game is supposed to read the actual roster- Yukio Blaze is supposed to be standing here.”
Celeste walked over to Slanted. “Did you play this game a lot?”
“Pretty much every day for a good two years, maybe less.”, Slanted replied standing up straight now as he turned to Enchanted and Celeste and dug his hands into his pockets, asking. “Why?”
“During that time, you created over thirty five original characters. Did you develop any storylines?”
“Duh!”
“And you used your created characters more than the actual wrestlers in the game?”
“Duh again!”
“Alright.”, Celeste nodded. “So here’s what happened: the game took on a life of its own. Slowly, overtime it followed your gaming patterns and the interface became dependent on your imprint.”
“… No way?!”, Slanted shot out, pressing his hands against his head as he started jumping around the hallway. “The game thinks my original characters are more important than the wrestlers in the game. Hell yes, this is sooo awesome.”
Really not wanting to waste any more time, Enchanted came forward and tapped Marc Douchington.
The created wrestler wobbled into life; it was as if silent lightning struck his head into existence.
“Hmph, must be the new kid.”, Marc Douchington said, but even though his lips were moving, nothing was coming out of his mouth and to understand what he was trying say, there were actually a set of subtitles under his lips. “I’m the top dog in this place and if you wanna get anywhere in this business, you’re going to have answer to me.”
Douchington stopped moving and resumed bobbling about.
“Why did he stop moving?”
“He’s waiting for you to say something.”
Enchanted pressed her dimple and gave herself a moment to think.
“It really isn’t hard.”, Celeste said. “You either tell him that he’s stupid and do what you want to do or you make friends with him and he’ll have you do his dirty work for him.”
“Got it.”, Enchanted said, stepping forward with a kick right into Douchington’s crotch, nailing him right between the legs.
Unfortunately, the kick didn’t have the kind of impact Enchanted was hoping for; the Douche was still standing there, wobbling about as if nothing had ever happened.
Slanted leaned close to Enchanted. “You’re supposed to talk to him first, and then you can kick him in the balls.”
“Right.”, Enchanted nodded now as she tapped Douchington on the shoulder.
The Douche bobbled back into life and Enchanted replied in subtitles, “Well mister, how about I don’t? Because I’ve got one thing and one thing only inside this pretty little head of mine and that’s to be the next WFWF Champion. So, I guess you’re just going to deal with it.”
Marc Douchtingon laughed in the douchiest way possible and stepped aside as two masked lugs jumped the trio from behind, clobbering them in the back with steel chairs.
Slanted tried to push himself up, but no matter how hard he seemed to push, it was like his body was still flat on the ground. “I can’t move.”
“I can’t move too.”
“We’re in a cut-scene.”
“Of course!”, Slanted shot out, wishing he could point his approval at Celeste. “The engine the game was built on wasn’t sophisticated enough to allow a player to interact with a cut-scene!”
“In other words: we can’t do anything.”
“Except lie down and take it.”
“… That really sucks.”
One of the masked lugs came over and threw Slanted over his shoulder, hoisting him up as Douchington leaned down before Enchanted and Celeste to say something they had to read. “You just made the biggest mistake of your life. You don’t ever cross the WFWF’s top dog. This is my yard.”
The Douche’s head bopped over Enchanted and Celeste for a couple seconds longer than it should have. The guy really didn’t say much and the whole sentence barely took a sentence to read- it was worthy of a skip if it was actually possible.
“I can’t believe that actually happened.”
“What do you expect? It’s an old video game.”
Enchanted dropped her head down and sighed. “So what, we walk into the arena and start the match?”
“Are you in the mood to go through loading screens again?”
Enchanted grabbed Celeste’s hand and made a beeline for the curtains across from her.
“I am going to kill you after this cut-scene, f*cko!”
The Douche tossed Slanted into the ropes and charged at him with a dropkick across the chest; both of his feet clad in only the finest French footwear.
There was a collected boo directed at the Douche, which was good because it meant that the game still probably remembered Slanted and was maybe on his side?
The Douche grabbed Slanted by the hair and dragged him to the bottom rope where he continued to use his arrogant French shoes against him, until-
The arena lights fell and the most awesomely girly song you could ever imagine just ripped a chord through the arena, buzzing pretty power-chords and laser-beam noises – All Girl Summer Fun Band’s “Video Game Heart”- Pink and blue strobe lights flickered across the tron and down its ramp as Enchanted pushed herself through the entrance curtain, hanging there in mid-curtsey as she leaned forward and gazed across her arena.
The cut-scene magically equipped Enchanted with a microphone and the girl started (without the subtitles because she’s special that way). “Hey Douchbag!”
“It’s not Douchbag, my name is the Dou-“, Douchebag replied (subtitled)
“It doesn’t matter what your name is!”, Enchanted shot out, cutting him off. “I played this game for one reason, because it was the only wrestling video game in my boyfriend’s collection that actually allowed a girl to win a belt, which is stupid because I just have as much of a chance of winning as boys do. I tried the game from this year, you can only use girls in exhibition mode, but that’s it… I guess it’s an improvement. But still, I’m here and I’m just going to kick your butt, it’s really as simple as that.”
“Bring it on, rookie!”, The Douche said (subtitled)
A bell rang. A referee who could only walk sideways wobbled around the action and crunchy-guitar music set the soundtrack as Enchanted and The Douche started duking it out in the middle of the ring, trading snap jabs until that bitch Douchington threw his best foot forward and slapped Enchanted across the cheek.
“You b*tch!”, Enchanted shouted out as she jumped The Douche with a Thez-press and started hitting him in the head with punches.
Slanted rolled to the outside and tried to keep himself up against the apron. “Babe!”
“Hm?”, Enchanted asked, raising her eyebrows up a little as she gazed into the eyes of her sweetheart.
“Try to do a hurricanrana!”
“What’s that?”, Enchanted asked, still punching the Douche in the face.
“It’s when you jump in the air, lock your legs around your opponents head and flip backwards.”
“That’s supposed to make him flip over and land on his head right?”
“Yeah!”
“Cool.”, Enchanted said as she pushed herself off The Douche.
With a handful of hair, Enchanted dragged The Douche back to his feet and remembering exactly what Slanted said, Enchanted jumped into the air, wrapped her legs around Douchington’s head and executed the 3rd hurricanrana variation the game offered; a maneuver that felt a little more like a head-scissor but with enough force to land him head-first on the canvass.
The two masked lugs now appeared ringside; it was like they came from out of nowhere and this unseen force pushed them down the ramp and into the arena itself.
“Finish him!”, Slanted said now, jumping up the apron and taking air with a hard dropkick that knocked each lug with a foot across the chest.
With the lugs disposed of, Enchanted distanced herself away from The Douche and waited for him to get up. The girl started pacing and pacing and when she couldn’t take the wait any longer, she leaned back and threw out her arms, just daring him to stumble back to his feet.
And eventually he did, obviously not being in the right mind to pay attention to realizing he was doing exactly what Enchanted wanted him to do, the girl charged forward, jumped into the air and swung her thigh right over The Douche’s neck with such incredibly force that it drove The Douche’s neck right into the canvass, just breaking it on impact.
Quickly, Enchanted hooked the leg.
The referee wobbled until he found the perfect spot to rush to all fours and make the three count,
1…
2…
3…
Slanted rolled back into the ring and the moment Enchanted saw this, the two of them just rushed into each other’s arms. Slanted held Enchanted up and spun her in the air, inadvertently knocking Marc Douching hard in the nose just as he was trying to get back up.
Ring Announcer: Your winner. And… New WFWF Champion! Ian-Chan-Ted.
The referee handed Enchanted the WFWF Championship and the girl cradled the belt in her arms and sent flying kisses to everyone in the audience.
“I did it!”, Enchanted cried out. “I did something I said I was going to do this afternoon- I finished the game!”.
Slanted grabbed Enchanted’s hand and was ready to raise her up, when he noticed something funny. Slowly, Slanted let go of Enchanted’s hand and walked over to the edge of the ring, looking up the jumbo tron.
“Do you hear that?”
“Hear what?”, Enchanted asked back, swinging the WFWF Championship over her shoulder.
Slanted and Enchanted squinted their eyes and listened close- the song got stuck and started to skip; patches of audio cutting in and out in really harsh patches.
“It’s skipping, what do we do?”
“Run?”
“Will that get us anywhere?”
Slanted held out his hand to Enchanted. “Hasn’t stopped us before.”
Enchanted kissed Slanted’s hand and with that, Slanted flung Enchanted forward, catching her in his arms now with a great push into his step as immediately followed by jumping over the corner guardrail, but there was nothing there for him to walk over so instead getting to the other side, Slanted and Enchanted hit an invisible wall and fall into the arena floor with a sick splat.
Enchanted could feel her impending doom just creeping up her back, leaving her with the most unwelcome chills ever. Quickly, she took Slanted’s hand and grabbed it.
“Not a bad way for me to go, you know?”, Enchanted said. “I’m the champ, I’ve got a boyfriend. I could end things right now and be totally okay with it.”
“… Say that again and I will freak, babe.”
“I’m just saying.”
Slanted and Enchanted closed their eyes and instinctively turned to each other to huddle up in a tight snuggle, just shaking, waiting for it…
-The darkness came cutting through the screen around them; flashing on and off, four times over, over the course of five-six seconds until the computer-generated world around them just cut out into darkness; pure darkness.
Rob’s Room

Celeste Cuddlepunk anxiously paced around Slanted’s room. The weed-pixie was the first one to make the journey back, but the fact that neither Rob nor Renée made it back from Playstation 2 the moment she did was really starting to worry her.
The Weed Pixie popped back into human size and with all the anxiety running through her, she squatted down to the ground and pressed the eject button on the Playstation 2 and with that, the WFWF Forever Unscarred disk spun out of the console, flying right through her that Celeste had to duck in cover.
The disk crashed into the bedroom wall and even with all that, the disk continued spinning and spinning until it spun so hard that it literally spat out Rob and Renée.
“Oh my God, you guys!” Celeste shot out, rushing over to the other side of the room to check on the dweebs.
Rob landed on his belly.
Renée landed on her butt.
“Are you two okay?”
Rob and Renée smiled at each other and then turned to Celeste. “Can we do that again?”
Celeste went all D_0, “Seriously?”
“Yeah.”, Enchanted said, rushing up to her feet as she plucked one of the newer wrestling titles from Rob’s shelf.
WFWF Revolution’14
“And this time, we can use your pixie magic to make me fight guys and win the belt again.”, Renée said as Rob started to plug his PS3 back in. “Anyway, Cam Nitta and whoever else I’m probably gonna wrestle in the next few months are all in that game. So, I can just fight them over and over until I beat them enough times to do it in real life.”
“It doesn’t work that way.”
“So? We’ll make it work that way!”.

Enchanted’s First Fight!

“This way!”

Before the trio knew it, they were outside the arena. The area itself wasn’t that impressive by today’s standards. It was the outside of the arena and stretch of a small block with the backdrop of a heavily congested city.“We’re actually here…” Slanted said as he lurched over to the section he assumed was the upper right side of the screen…

And now they were in the parking lot!“Holy crap!” Slanted squealed as he dragged himself over to the top of the area and-

And now they were back in the hallway!

“Damn it, Slanted!”
“I didn’t even do anything.”
Black borders took the top and bottom of everything around them; it was like the entire aspect ratio of the world around them had suddenly switched to widescreen from fullscreen.

The hallway seemed to have returned to normal. Enchanted and Celeste were standing up again, but neither Slanted, The Douche, or the two masked lugs were anywhere to be found.“I can’t believe that actually happened.”

The black borders were back and this time, the cut-scene opened up to the arena itself with Marc “The Douche” Douchington just beating down Slanted inside the ring; and since this was a cut-scene, it meant that the poor boy had no other choice than to take the ass-kicking of a lifetime from a created wrestler he made out of misdirected spite.

Before Enchanted knew it, she was in the middle of the ring standing right across the Douche and her fallen and beloved Slanted. The camera angle seemed to come from the opposite end of the arena, just getting the back of the announcers and their ringside table; the jumbo tron standing ominously in the distance.

The pretty power chords and the laser-beam noises hit the arena again with All Girl Summer Fun Band’s “Video Game Heart” spreading its infectious blend of pop-rock across the arena, sweeping the many thousands in attendance with a mean case of LSS.Slanted rolled back into the ring and the moment Enchanted saw this, the two of them just rushed into each other’s arms.

Rob’s Room
Rob’s Mom’s House
Little Olympia
