I'm pretty sure Edge was injured going into that match. I think that's why he was in the match in the first place. They wanted him on the show but in a match where he didn't have to do as much. There were a bunch of other guys to carry the load and then Jeff took him out of it. I believe he went in with some kind of jaw injury going into the match.

If you guys think that Jeff Hardy, Scott Hall and Jake Roberts are the only wrestlers to ever use drugs, you're deluding yourselves.

Ah, yes, you're right. Hard to keep track of his drug use. Jeff Hardys make a few mistake and everyone hates him for it, Scott Hall makes TONS of mistakes and everyone feels sorry for him. IWC logic. i'm not trying to calling you out specifically, just stating something that i've noticed with people on Wfigs. Because at some point in his career, Hall could wrestle.

Yeah I wanna say he was injured in a match with RVD a few weeks prior?

I have moved this to Classic Wrestling folks because it isn't current. Also cut out the Hall/hardy stuff. its way off topic.
basically Kennedy was misdiagnosed here and it cost him dearly.....

Edge and Orton should've had their own match. Period.
Edge only ended up getting the briefcase 2 weeks later because Kennedy's injury was misdiagnosed and they assumed he would be on the shelf for a much longer period of time.
Oops.

When I think about Edge (which is very rare), I think, "Man, that guy sucked! I'm glad he isn't on my television anymore."

Kennedy could've won back the briefcase if Edge still had it when he returned. Thing is Taker got injured and had to lose the belt immediately, around the time Kennedy was believed to be seriously injured as well so they had edge win the briefcase on a Monday and he cashed it in literally the next day for taker to lose the belt, right after that it was when they found out Kennedy wasn't as hurt as first believed. One thing I always wondered was why thy didn't just give him the belt once Edge got injured, would have saved us from the Khali reign of boredom. To stay on topic Edge and Randy Orton should have faced each other at Wrestlemania, their match on Raw after Backlash is highly underrated, really great match

He could have a really nice face run as champion and when Edge came back, we would have had a Fatal-Four-Way at Armageddon.

Still, everybody in that match should have been champion over The Great Khali.

Now that I think about it, WrestleMania 23 was Kennedy's last chance, unfortunately. He would never be at the level he was at the time again. I mean, he got close with the McMahon illegitimate son thing and the WWE Championship at Cyber Sunday, but that was it for him.
