One of our songs picked up to be in a movie

Most of you guys have already saw, (and possibly grown tired) or me talking about my music on here. Either way, here's another post about it 
Last year we released an EP and the biggest goal, at that time, was to have a song on the radio before the end of 2013. We released it in August and we began getting local radio play in October and it's still spinning.
The 2014 bucket list item was to try to get at least one song in CONSIDERATION to be included in a film. Earlier this month I met with the folks from an indy studio called Pirate Pictures after I read about a film they were doing called "Four Color Eulogy". I really liked the plot of the movie. It's a comedy/drama that centers around an aspiring comic book artist returning home after 10 years to tend to his sick mother. I didn't want to toss a song out to any random film crew though. Having ran a film festival at a horror convention, I've seen my fair share of crap. I've sat through so many "dude bought a camera on ebay and made a movie" flicks that I just had no desire to even try to be a part of something like that. So I talked to these folks, listened to their vision, looked at some previous work they had done, checked out their pre-production videos and saw that this is actually not a random "guy with a camera" movie. This is a full on production. These guys are hard at work making sure they make the best indy film possible and I knew it would be something we really wanted to be a part of. We showed them our work and they liked what they heard and that was that.
Anyway, just wanted to share something exciting. You can check out their facebook page for the movie at www.facebook.com/fourcolorthemovie to follow the process. They have recently did location scouting, and are gearing up for the fundraising campaign followed by shooting in the spring.
