Could the rumor be true? According to Anthony DiMoro of Sportsrant.com, WWE and Sting have reached some sort of an agreement. The following is an excerpt from DiMoro's report, and you can read more here: I have heard it from a good source that Sting and WWE have actually agreed to a deal, including a WWE Hall of Fame induction. The Hall of Fame induction may not come in 2014, but possible 2015 as WWE may want to feature Sting and get the fanbase familiar with him on WWE Television over the next year so that his induction is even more special. I anticipate a career DVD will also be in the mix later this year as well as a heavy presence of Sting on WWE Network. |

Just imagine the Flashback set this year if Mattel rushed out and did this..
-Wrestlemania III Randy Savage with Robe & headband
-Wrestlemania III Hulk Hogan with shirt & headband
-Royal Rumble '91 Ultimate Warrior with purple Winged Eagle & leather USA Jacket
-Starrcade '90 Neon Green Sting with Black/green Jacket & Big Gold belt
-Royal Rumble '92 Ric Flair with Black robe & Winged Eagle
-Summer Slam '95 Shawn Michaels with entrance gear & IC Title
Im pretty sure RSC could put a pre order price of $200 on that set and it would sell like Moon Pies.

I really think if they ever make a royal rumble 91 warrior then they should make a royal rumble 91 savage from when he interrupted warriors match against slaughter wearing the pink tights and shirt with black leopard prints, if it came with the hat and glasses It would be the best figure yet

With Hogan back, and Nash around...perhaps they could induct the original 3 nWo members into the HoF and get the ball rolling for Scott. |

They could probably put out a PPV heritage flashback set a few times a year... Like the Bret and Shawn but with more elites and a b.a.f perhaps

Just examples with the - being the riskier choice.... With the lines popularity, and after people have hogan, flair and sting in the line, there would be a better chance thattheriskier figs would move as well with more people on board. The way I've always seen this stuff is, the more you have, the more you want. I just started a new gen collection because of e23 undertaker and wm30 Bret... It was enough to entice me to buy 10-12 more figs... And if there's a b.a.f in the line then the riskier figs will sell regardless
Still so many guys that would sell very well, bulldog, slaughter, l.o.d, snuka, Scott hall, sting, flair, hogan, beefcake, anvil, earthquake, gangrel, godfather, d lo brown, HHh blue blood, hbk, savage, warrior, Bret, Owen, gold dust, Austin, rock.... Etc.... It could definitely work now that wwe network will be up and running... Making the wwe more money and having shows on legends again. They should be able to offer more legends deals and this thing could build like a rolling snowball

PWInsider has confirmed reports that negotiations are ongoing between Sting and WWE. Word is that a decision must be made within the next 2 weeks on whether or not Sting is going to join the company. Several factors are being worked out right now including scheduling and what Sting is and isn't willing to do creatively. This does not mean Sting is definitely coming to WWE and he could very well work another year with TNA but the impression has been given that Sting realizes if he's going to have a run with WWE, this is the time. The impression was also given, within WWE, that there will not be a match against The Undertaker, at least at this year's WrestleMania event. However, the idea of Sting debuting at WrestleMania XXX with some kind of cameo or vignette has been discussed. There's also a feeling that Sting is the face of WCW and with WWE promoting a lot of WCW content on the Network, he could be an asset there. Sting is considered a fresh, unique face when they are used to using people like Ric Flair and Diamond Dallas Page to promote their WCW projects. If Sting wants his legacy to continue, he has no choice but to sign a deal to keep Sting alive and it doesn't hurt that he's finally getting a big pay check. Does anyone know if he can still wrestle? |

I hope he signs and fights Taker at mania, close the book on that dream match already. WWE seems to hate their fans so i'm not expecting anything significant to happen.
