Original Sin Cara gone from WWE but owns Sin Cara character

Gimmick sucks anyway. He can have it.

he had that, and it was a MONUMENTAL bomb.
as much as I personally liked Hunico & Camacho...the bike was awesome, the fact that they were actual characters was fresh. they were both solid in the ring. their theme sucked, and the crowds went to sleep when they were on, so it was worthless.

so now, he's better off actually getting on TV, not botching, and getting a better fanbase.
hell if year or two down the line they are tired of the gimmick they could "unmask" him, since he's already wrestled unmasked it would be like the big reveal "Hunico was the REAL Sin Cara the whole time!!"

I didn't know Mistico owned the Sin Cara character, unless copyright laws are different in Mexico. I remember when X-Pac was on AAA TV, he used the DX theme, so IDK how copyright laws work from the US to Mexico. I know Sin Cara Mistico showed up on the Mexican wrestling talk show Tercera Caida under the Sin Cara character.

Hunico is so much better than Mistico. 

I'm glad he's gone. Biggest waste of a spot, ever. Hunico is 20 times better anyways.

Mistico is a phenomenal wrestler and anyone saying else wise is just wrong. Mistico's problem was the "WWE style" work that he had to do and he just wasnt capable of conforming to the style. Anyone that's seen his work in Mexico knows he's a tremendous talent and whatever character he goes by down there Im sure he will return to stardom.

Well, this blows. I love Mistico and felt that his WWE run was a disaster due to a number of reasons. Most of them on WWE's behalf.

For a start, the whole "wrestling in the dark" thing was a bad idea from the very beginning. Both for the viewer and the performer. Why they had this thing going on for 2 years is beyond me. On top of that, they gave him a mask that had no eyes in it. Did I mention that he can't speak English and was sent straight to the main roster? Anyone would think that they set up for this guy to fail. As for the whole Sin Cara character... it sucked. He should have been brought in as Mistico. Or "Mystico", whatever.

As for Hunico, he is not better than the original Sin Cara... no chance. Hunico is a very solid wrestler but he can't pull off the things Mistico can. He's definitely not a better Sin Cara as far as doing the stunts and flips and all that jazz. Which is essentially what "Sin Cara" was all about. Hunico is a very good wrestler but I think it's best if he gets assigned a character of his own. What about his FCW character, "Incognito"? Let him run with that.

I'll end this post off by saying that I am very disappointed. Mistico vs Rey Mysterio at Wrestlemania is a dream match of mine and could have drawn huge. Hunico vs Rey Mysterio doesn't have quite the same feel.

Give Hunico his own masked character and let him create his own legacy instead of trying to save that botched failure of a character Sin Cara. Sin Cara was doomed to fail when he botched his entrance on his debut. Hunico is 10x the worker Sin Cara is.

I'd like to point out that while in CHIKARA, during a tag team match, Hunico climbed to the top rope to break up a pin attempt. His pre-WWE run was generally looked at as a giant failure and a running joke.
