Good for him it's a shame that people like him and Bryan bust their ass to entertain us only to defer to part timers for the big paydays

Punk is a great performer, but honestly, his constant whining, complaining, selfishness, and jerkiness to the fans has left such a sour taste in my mouth, that it has made me not enjoy his performances as much. I don't really care anymore if he is gone or not.

Just give him the Divas title already.
He will be getting a call from austin. He says it pretty much every week on his podcast that his biggest regret was walking out (along with not changing the end of WM17 on the fly).

I'm sorry if it was already mentioned, I didn't read all the comments. But if this was a work. Punk would have walked out on live TV or the WWE would have shown a tweet or whatever. They didn't mention anything at all. They would want focus on it so at the very least Cole would have said "Punk isn't here, or we can't find him" kinda stuff. Anything to get a hashtag.
I hope Punk is gone. I'm sorry, again, but the WWE has given Punk quite a lot. Music, long title reign, main events, more $$$, pipe bombs, etc. I think Punk is a little ungrateful. And I seriously doubt that this has ANYTHING to do with hating HHH or the "lack" of a Daniel Bryan push. I don't think Punk could care less. You see what they want you to see on TV. What really happens backstage is all heresay and no amount of "rumors" or dirt sheets will ever really know unless you are there to witness it yourself. When it all comes down to it, and many will agree, Punk is a moody prick. And when a moody prick is done, they are done. Trust me. I am one as well.

I left a good company where I made tons of money, the company made a bobblehead of me etc etc. I was sick of the job, the politics, the lack of effort the company had in moving me up.... and I walked out. Funny thing is - I work for a similar business but its much smaller and it allows me to work on a more comfortable schedule with less micro management. I'm happy too. If Punk leaving WWE will make him a happier person, then it is the right thing for him to do. I will miss the crapout of him though. Leave the memories alone. Much love.

I dont see why Triple H is getting the full blame. Im sure Vince still has a lot to do with decision making. As much as I like CM Punk, he does have an attitude. He needs to realize that its not all about him. I do see where he is coming from, but come on. Because it's the easy/lazy thing to do.

If this is real, CM Punk still can't go to TNA or ROH because he is still signed with the WWE - no matter what for the time being. And also, if CM Punk walking out thinks it's gonna move Vince or Hunter into doing something better with Punk, then he's mistaken. Steve Austin walked out in 2002, and the WWE kept right on a rolling. The same will be done if CM Punk really does walk away and go home. But I can also see why CM Punk would go home. I am sure he's not entirely happy about Batista coming back just like that, to win the Rumble and then to go on to main event Wrestlemania XXX. Plus how the WWE is handling Daniel Bryan constantly, and other things, it's understandable if he's frustrated and wants to just walk away from it all. This. If he leaves he will be in the almost the exact same boat as Austin. I doubt he will ever go to TNA as he has stated you despised how they cut off the deal with ROH. I really hope this is just a work, but if it isn't, before anyone starts saying this is Triple H, Vince, or Punk's fault, you weren't there and don't know what happened so let's just see where this leads and wait until we get the facts straight. This blows!!!! Also time for AJ to drop the belt was just thinking this too. IF he did walk out, then you know they're gonna punish his girlfriend. I highly doubt that as the WWE knows she is the only Diva getting near the reaction of the Superstars and would be very unprofessional to take action against the guy's girlfriend.

I hope this is not true. One of my favorite wrestlers of all time. I can't blame him for getting mad. He was champion for 434 days and The Rock who only comes back to promote his movies wins the belt from him with the people's elbow. WWE didn't want him who was champion for more than a year show off a new belt, it had to be Rocky. He fought The Shield for about two months every raw. He was not being used as a main eventer he was being used as a mid carder. He should of won the Royal Rumble. But no Batista who left WWE for 4 years had to win. Just so he could come back for a couple of months to promote his movie and leave for a few month. CM Punk and Daniel Bryan are being treated like crap with WWE. Why because Vince doesn't think they are big enough. Well Vince not every superstar will be super tall and look like they are on steroids. Get over the fact that guys like CM Punk and Daniel Bryan are the future of Pro Wrestling. If you don't use them right they may just leave and go somewhere that will. PIPEBOMB

If this is true, than its unfortunate. Punk was one of the few full timers left that I thoroughly enjoyed watching every single week. On one side I can see his frustration, if I remember correctly, wasnt it reported last summer that Punk was being groomed to win the Royal Rumble match and in turn main event Wrestlemania. I think even with Bryan's popularity rise he probably would have been ok if Bryan took his place instead but I think he (as well as most) were understandably upset that someone could walk back in to WWE after 4 years gone and win the main spot at Mania within one week of their return. On the flip side I also disagree with his choice to walk out. It is an incredibly unprofessional move and pretty much spits in the face of all your fans that have supported you. I would like to think this is a work, but something certainly seems wrong with this situation.

Not sure if I feel this is a work or legit. Either way, it's times like these that I miss WCW.
And please...nobody say "well we have TNA". You have TNA, I choose to think it's horrible and nobody with any good common sense should subject themselves to the embarrassment of working on that TV program.

I hope it's a work, with the Authority BS and screwing of him being too much, leading to him getting a match against HHH at Wrestlemania. But if it's real, well it sucks. He's my favorite full time active performer, but it would be a shame to see him go out like this, instead of finishing the last 6 months of his contract, or the least, WRestlemania. my exact thoughts. i really hope its not true, also considering im going to mania this year to see him mostly :/

Whether it's a work or not, it def adds to the Punk/HHH match at mania. Maybe it won't be as stale. That is, if it is indeed a work.

Thing is if WWE did not crapon their every day talent and bring in old guys who left the company before this would not be a problem.
Again unprofessional but understandable.

Good for him if true. He got brought back way too early at Payback last year, he's looked like crap ever since, and he's done nothing worthwhile since SummerSlam. Clears the way for Bryan vs Triple H at WrestleMania, too, which is way more interesting.
Punk being a crybaby bitch is probably the best thing for both him and the company right now. Go home, heal up, maybe come back as a special attraction in a year or two.

Well this sucks but Punk does have a history of these tantrums and having Batista come back, win one match, and main event Wrestlemania is a joke and slap in the face.
At least Jericho does house shows when he's around and helps put over younger talent. Even Lesnar, another part timer, is only really involved in "speciality feuds" and isn't taking away from the other guys. Batista is just sucking the life out of WWE and he's only been back for 2 weeks.
