If (when) Prince Devitt signs with WWE, will he instantly be a main roster guy or will he need to learn 'WWE style' and spend time in NXT?
He's 32 and has been in NJPW for a long time. Hardcore wrestling fans know who he is, but he is far from a household name. They did throw Sin Cara on the main roster right away, but he got burned.
I think he's a main roster guy right away, but since they are pushing guys through their developmental system and WWE Performance Center, I feel he could start there. Since PAC & Generico went the NXT route, I feel it is inevitable.
What do you guys think?

NXT for about 4-6 months can't hurt anybody.

The original Sin Cara proved that no matter how good you are, everyone could use some time in NXT.

Neither, stay away man.....I have a lot of time for Devitt. He's from my County and is a nice dude with plenty of patience for people.
I think he should stay put to be honest.

NXT is more than just getting used to the WWE style. Give someone like Devitt 3 months and he will have it down no problem. Its all about creative and whether they have something for you on the main roster. Considering they cant even write for the people already on the roster, if Devitt were to sign with WWE, he could be there for a few years.
Devitt is better served in TNA. Now that MVP has joined, that locker room is just getting more and more of his friends.

If Devitt signs w/ WWE, he should go straight to the main roster. Sending him to NXT would be a waste.

I'd say NXT as it is a rare occasion when someone who has never been in the WWE is ready right away.

NXT for a little while for him to learn the style of WWE, then when they find something for him to do on the main roster, bring him up. I like that WWE is interested in Prince Devitt, but like others have said, he's a much better fit for TNA in the X-Division.

He needs to stay in New Japan. WWE will handle him about as well as I would survive Gianna Michaels in the bedroom.

Punk, Bryan, Cesaro, Zayn, etc have all gone through developmental. Devitt is great, but he would be no different.

I don't think any new acquisitions now goes straight to the main roster anymore.

Many people considered Chris Hero and Bryan Danielson the best wrestlers today and even they had to go through NXT, so I'm gonna say yes, he'll be in NXT first.
