It'd be a great idea in theory, but I understand why it can't be done. I will say I'm dying to get some more old school titles. Especially more Tag titles.

Would be amazing, but I do question the demand. Also, how many times have you grabbed a figure because of the title? If you're like me it's been over a dozen. So I don't see Mattel changing this approach because it works.

I'm still trying to understand how, for instance it is helping Mattel currently if we are paying out our ass for a Drew McIntyre E8 with the oval IC belt. We have to spend a lot of money either to buy it MIB or Just the loose belt. Why not include it with say Sheamus or Del Rio or some other shelf warmer? I know it wouldn't be 100% accurate or whatever but neither is a CM Punk whatever the hell he comes with in the JR BAF??
Also why in the world not include the Classic tag belt with the FB Christian? What a dull figure that might have cleared off shelves coming with something like that. It just seems like they would help us collectors out a little bit with this stuff. It isn't helping Mattel out now if we are buying multiples of 2 and 3 year old figures just to get belts that they won't put out anymore.
Crush probably has to much $hit with him to include a tag belt with him so I'm not sure what our next chance is to get one. Andre? (They aren't going to make a Haku so I can't see that). Who knows but it is frustrating as hell to have to drop $20-$30+ for belts and getting the same old figure over and over.

Just do it the way I did it. Buy the Belts loose and boycott the figures. See my signature picture?? I took all of Mattel's Elite shiny VAC Championship Title Belts plus the Million Dollar Belt and the Hardcore Belt, minus the Winged Eagle Belt on a Yellow Strap (got a 2nd Big W instead, cause it wasn't shiny and it’s freakin yellow) and the NWO Belt (got a 2nd Big Gold instead for possible future customizing, cause I just really don’t like the way the put the spray-painted letters on the Big Gold) and put them on the “Best Jakks Figure In The World At What It Does!! Send them a message…that they will never receive…
