Probably better than 2 & 3, but not as good as 1 story wise. I bet the action and CGI will be the only good thing.

I was a huge Transformers fan as a kid and I have really enjoyed the Michael Bay movies the only thing I was not keen on was the way that Optimus Prime just flat out murders Megatron to me it just seemed really out of character. I am really looking forward to this and am very interested to see Michael Bays take on the Dinobots.
I honestly do not get the hate these movies get. If you hate the because you think they are just terrible movies then fair enough, but people seem to complain about the dialogue and the explosions. Its a movie about giant alien robots not freaking Macbeth.

I don't get the hate either or the "WAAAHHHHHH Bay raped my childhood" Im a TF fan since I was 8 and have really enjoy the movies for what they are and for making the brand a king in the boys toys aisles again. Also Prime killing Megatron was totally in Character-he didn't murder him its war & a savage one at that.....Megatron is a genocidal monster. Prime would've smoked his ass in the 86 movie too but that punk Hot Rod got in the way......also don't forget.....he critically wounded Thundercracker,Skywarp and Megatron in the 86 movie and told the Dinos to destroy Devastator(changed from KILL Devastator) do you think he had forgotten that Megatron killed Jazz?or his plans led to the death of Ironhide,Skids,Mudflap and Que? HELL NO. Prime killing the crapoutta Megatron was awesome f*ckin sauce.......and I marked HARD. but back OT yeah Im looking forward to this......bring it on I say.wonder who the Decepticon big bad will be? |

It doesn't look particularly good, but I think they're fun, mindless popcorn flicks. Nothing wrong with that. I'll see it.

I'll definitely see it, and by that I mean torrents haha.
I was in downtown Chicago when they were shooting some of this movie, so I'm interested to see that portion of the film. I'm a Wahlberg fan but this doesn't look like anything special and quite honestly reminded me a bit of War of the Worlds from the trailer. I have no expectations though really so I could see myself liking this one. I did think 3 was better than 2, but the first one is the only film with any replay value imo. So I think the door is pretty wide open for this film to come right out and immediately become the best of the series.

Very excited for this... I know that most people hate on the other movies, but I don't care. I love them. They are big dumb and stupid, and I find them entertaining. I expect nothing different from this one. It won't be a classic film, but it will be a great way to kill 2 hours on a Friday night at the flicks. What more do u want???

The movies have been horrid. I was all excited for the first one. LOVED that they casted Peter Cullen to do Optimus' voice. But it let me down and Cullen's voice was the only thing that was cool about it. The TFs themselves look like total crap. What was appealing about the TFs were that they were robots that had human characteristics that could transform. Nothing about these folks look human. They look like junk from a scrap yard.
