Goldberg

I'm building a Goldberg custom and almost have it complete. I intended to give him the short boots, a la Lesnar/Austin. When I attempted to put the Lesnar boots on the hill billy Jim body, the boot is too small for the peg. Are the austin boots better served for this? Should I use different calves?
