Oh....oh no....
I remember the one time we had a match, you alluded to this in your rp, and I chalked it up at the time to the character being unable to be bothered with the details of his opponent.
Yeah, David Brennan has never been a white supremacist. Drakz alludes to the idea that he is a lot, but I think it's cause he gets the character. If you're under the misconception that all skins are WP, I'm gonna have to sugget putting your copies of American History X and Romper Stomper away and actually reading up on the subject. Helpful Google terms would be "working class skin", or to a lesser extent in Brennan's case "S.H.A.R.P.".
Let's end on a fun fact - once upon a time, my idea was to go with this tweeter gimmick where Brennan would get a lot of heat for the misconception, only to turn super heel and rip off his shirt showing a ton of WP ink and sh*t. I abandoned because a) as a relatively live and let live kinda guy, it would be kind of trying on my psyche to write, and b) there's really no coming back from that if I ever want to run a reform angle.
But yeah, for the record, Brennan is not a fan of Skrewdriver - not even their old pre-WP stuff.

I had a buddy who signed up when Flaps was owner and did a white supremacist gimmick but his was more similar to the southern Klan than skinheads. I think his picbase was David Allan Coe. I have seen it done before brilliantly. But I am all for pushing the line and pushing boundaries. I don't believe in content restrictions on racism, profanity, vulgarity, and the like. I think it can lead to some interesting rps. I do also tend to have incredibly vulgar rps with Kyzer, it fits the character.

In high school there were a bunch of kids who fancied themselves WP skins and called themselves "Zyklon B" (super tacky. Look it up), but a good part of my city is...well...pretty ethnically diverse, so their power of like, 6, was squashed pretty quickly.
Now I get to rewrite my segment for the next show, 'cause between Ace Bennett demanding his title shot and Obo legit thinking my character was a white supremacist, I've got a wealth of new material.

Neo-nazi Skin heads were around Seattle when I was growing up there. They had a presence but it was something everyone kind of looked at as a joke. But since I haven't been back in a while to that side of the coast since 2006, I have no clue if they are still active. Now here in South Carolina, racism is alive and kicking. I find myself hating little white kids here more than any other particular group. The kids here are just a bunch of thug posers who have watched too many rap videos. |
