College orientation sucks, especially as a transfer junior surrounded by a bunch of freshman. Yuck. And I get this for 24 hours...go...me...? I have no idea how Thunder (going to the same school) survived this. Haha. What school are you going to? Point Park, a little artsy type school in Pittsburgh.

PA is attractive enough as a C or D level tourist trap - weekend getaway, tops, but yeah, definitely low tier state. Never been to Michigan. I've done the standard NYC trip, and I've been to a couple of weddings in upstate NY, which is awesome 'cause everyone is rich up there so they've all been open bar.
When I was 15, my parents decided they needed to pack up me, my then 12 year old brother, and drag us out for a WEEK, smack dab in the middle of the summer, to Alabama - which is cool, 'cause you know what there is to do when you're 15 in Alabama while your folks go out and get tanked with their friends and shoulder you with said friends 7 or 8 year old kid to babysit? F*cking nothin'.

Senior year was so tit. Other than two sophomore classes that I failed and had to retake, I had all my basic credits lined up, so I just took a bunch of blow off classes. I was involved in a couple of extracurriculars, so I wanted to keep my grades manageable. My senior year looked something like this:
Public Speaking Guitar Ensemble Algebra 2 (retake) Drama &Theatre Reader's Theatre 1 Semester of Soph. English 1 Semester of Photography Band
I still look back and can't believe that I failed a semester of Sophomore English. I barely made the cut at my second go of Algebra, too. I graduated in the lowest percentile of my class of like 800 some odd.
I was awesome in high school.

Well I live in North Carolina, so nothing's really worth a visit here.
So Kyzer what is your favorite state?

Well I live in North Carolina, so nothing's really worth a visit here. So Kyzer what is your favorite state? Currently it is Florida, where I reside now. I was in South Carolina for the last 16 years which isn't bad if you are in Greenville or Charleston. I was stuck in Columbia though. I am from Washington and loved it there but will never live there again until my sons are grown and out of the house. Florida offers more educationally for them. I love the Durham area of North Carolina but that is because I am a die hard Duke fan. The Outer Banks was pretty gnarly though when I went, I liked that a lot. Nevada has always been fun but anywhere there would be too much fun to raise kids. I do really like Florida. The rain reminds me of Seattle except it is sunny 10 minutes later. Where in NC are you?

I am down in Melbourne about 20 minutes south of Cocoa Beach. I love it down here. I have always been a beach person. I am hoping that for some reason Jabari Parker drops to #4 in the draft and Orlando gets him, then I will be a big Magic fan.

I could never live in the south again. I lived in Austin, Texas until I was 9 or 10. That climate just isn't for me. When things stay the same for too long my mood gets stagnant and I regress inward. From there, things boil over until I blow up and it's never pretty. At least here, even during the long winters, change is always around the corner.

Yeah, I've yet to go to a Duke basketball game but it's something I want to go to eventually. I've been to a lot of football games in the area though. I saw Andrew Luck smash the hell out of Duke, along with NC State rally to defeat Florida State. Yeah Orlando is one of my favorite NBA teams and i'm pissed how the Cav's continue to get the number one pick. Cocoa Beach that's cool. I've been to South Beach multiple times down in Miami, really fun and cool atmosphere.

I would go back to Seattle but that would probably be the only place in the north I would live again. But the snowfall there is less than what people would think. The climate definitely doesn't match the rest of the north over there.

The coolest things to it would be Rupp Arena for Kentucky and Allen Fieldhouse for Kansas. I have been to both of those and still think that Cameron is the best but I may have some bias. I like parts of South Beach. I am sucker for Cuban food which Miami is the place for if you are in the US. I hate the Cav's even though Irving plays there. I hope he leaves after his rookie contract. I am a big Thunder fan even after they left Seattle. The Supersonics were the only hometown team I liked from Washington. Though I might become a Huskies' football fan now that they have a coach I like.

I am VERY prideful of my city...almost disgustingly, so I now have to hate you, even if you gave a backwards, backhanded compliment at the end there.

What I have never understood is that you have had debatably the best hockey player in the NHL on your team for the last 6 years or so and you can't seem to make it to the finals since the '08-'09 season.

Unfortunately for your team, I think the Blackhawks and Kings are going to be trading the cup back and forth for a couple more years. I want Ovechkin to get off his sh~tty team so he finally has a chance to win a title.
