So are we going to get 20 minute promos from "the Authority" every week, like we used to get 20 minute Triple H promos at the start of each Raw years ago?
Back then you needed to flip channels, thankfully nowadays with the power of the DVR I skip through them every time, but it just feels so tiresome and tedious. Then again, they do have three hours to fill.

If Punk never walked out then we wouldn't have to sit through this crap. I really think Punk and HHH could have put on a classic. Imagine the build up? Seeing these guys beat the hell outta each other every week plus burying each other on the mic would of been good stuff.

Steph doesn't even wear the slutty clothes anymore either so what's the point?
I miss short skirt, high heels and low cut top Steph.

Hopefully. Triple H is causing the Internet of today to channel the same butthurt the Internet of 2003 had, and it should lead to a great moment when Bryan beats him.

My only issue is that his promos aren't as good as his used to be. He can't decide if he is heel or face and he has zero energy. That's my issue.

Last night, Stephanie patted the audience on the back and then they told Bryan he wasn't having a match. So not only am I confused week-to-week, but I'm unsure where they stand from minute-to-minute. The Authority doesn't really have that much to say imo. They come out and kind of give the same arbitrary speech every week. I have no problem with HHH being the heat magnet over Randy Orton, but don't make Orton look like a face in the process, and actually draw heat if you're going to be that guy. It's just nonsensical because nobody is coming out on top. Right now, I genuinely feel like anyone could be in Randy Orton's spot and the crowd would still be as hot for Bryan, same really goes for Triple H. If that was Brad Maddox out there burying or suppressing Bryan it would work exactly the same. So I'd like to see The Authority take a step forward. Maybe it's because they don't want to blur the lines too much from a corporate standpoint, or they are just playing it safe until the Network launches, but they are uninteresting and outright boring at times imo. |

I don't think it's a coincidence that the worst and most boring periods of wrestling within the last decade have all come with Triple H hogging the spotlight and being the center of attention. The only difference was that in 2002-2004 there was at least a deeper roster that could make it worth it to sit through his dreadful promos.

Agreed. my issue with The Authority is that unlike Vince in 98 or HHH/Steph in 2000 they aren't clearly heels and half the time are pandering tot he crowd. HHH & Stephanie are natural heels. when they were faces? it felt unnatural......they should be getting mega heat on them instead of flip flopping week after week. |

I've always hated his promos, he says "Well you see ehh, I'm the game ehh and I ahh know about the business uhh and this industry uhhh"
