Can someone please explain why Mattel decided to make this set so difficult for us to get?
I have had almost zero trouble finding any other elite series that came out. Elite 11 was one I anticipated heavily and as a collector, was screwed out of finding - and now I have to pay top dollar for friggin Miz figures if I want the set.
Why is it that this set was so horribly shipped?
Does anyone else feel Mattel should put this back up on their site at a fair price so we can actually have a fair chance of getting their product?

I remember hearing stories of people having a real hard time finding Wade Barrett and CM Punk from series 11 but they were major peg Warmer's her in South Carolina. I bought several Barrett's for fix ups and 2 of my walmarts had several Punks for months. I wish I could go back and buy some of them to resell or trade now.

now I have to pay top dollar for friggin Miz figures ....Said no one....ever. Go on eBay. Its like 75-90 dollars for a MOC Miz Elite 11. For a completionist, thats a lot of money for a Miz figure. Does anyone else feel Mattel should put this back up on their site at a fair price so we can actually have a fair chance of getting their product? Nope. Everyone in that set has had a superior release since that set. I still think that CM Punk is one of the best Punk releases - and good luck finding it MOC for less than 50 bucks.

The set dropped a couple years ago. It was decent. Nothing extravagant. In regards to distribution, it's out of the suppliers hands. It's the middle man who pushes the product. If the inventory isn't moving then there's no need to purchase more. End result blame the buyers for not buying the previous elite sets, that's the bottom line.

I couldn't find the set anywhere. That Punk was so coveted - that was right after the pipebomb situation and was at the height of his popularity.

I feel like once they changed to the white packaging, they were releasing the sets to many more outlets.
Sears, for example, was the place to find Elite 16. And you needed to be up on your game to grab a Diesel.

This is when I first started collecting Mattel. That Punk is like my holy grail that I still haven't found.

I don't think the prices their listed on eBay for are that bad, considering there has been 15 series' since that, meaning that they are pretty old. theres a Miz in auction right now at only £8.50, seen loads in completed listings for less than £15, maybe its just a uk thing

The majority of us would be pissed if they re-released Elite 11. I was able to find all of them at retail (granted I bought the only Punk I found). Everyone but Punk and Barrett sat on the shelves for a long time.

I found that set by the boatloads. Bought at least 5 Punks at retail for fixups. Left dozens more Punks on the shelves. Wade Barrett is STILL hanging around at 2 Walmarts near me.

Philly must suck then. I dont know - I think the East Coast US is the toughest to get figures - we have a big base of fans here.

Eh, other than Punk that set was garbage. And somebody else stated above there is a superior figure to E11.
It wouldn't bother me if they re-released it on RSC but I'd save my money as it wouldn't do anything for me.

Can't say I ever had an issue with finding Elite 11. I somewhat agree with people above, as far as some having better figures that have come out. Of the series (which I own Cena, Punk, and Barrett) I'd have to say Cena is my favorite. If he came with a removable arm band, it would have been perfect. The shirt is very thick and well designed, with full velcro. Also, it's baggier and bigger than the shirts with Cena figures now days, which is more accurate for the large size shirts he actually wears.
Just my opinion.

I didn't really have any trouble picking any of them up. I guess I just lucked into them when they hit retail. I managed to get them all but Mysterio. Just didn't dig that one. I will say that I didn't see either the Miz or the Punk ....come to think of it, the Christian either, more than a couple times after I purchased them. The Barret and Mysterio hung around forever though. It did come out almost simultaneously as e10 in my neck of the woods. So that's probably why I didn't see them as much as other releases. Now e16 (which I still don't have Zeke or that variant Nash from) and e20 (I only ever found Christian from that set) are the sets that made life hell for me in my area.
