Did anyone here ever play the MVP Baseball series? What were your favorite aspects of the game--I know the gameplay was great and it always ran smooth.
I still play 05 with mods on my computer, and I have to wonder if EA will make it again for the Next-Gen consoles, as 2K doesn't produce the baseball games anymore.

I've got 05 and NCAA 06 for my PS2, and I love them.

I haven't played since the 2011 season. It's amazing how that community keeps chuggin' along. I got an email alert from the main site about the '14 rosters and thought about starting a season up, but I just got Pro Yakyuu '14 for the PSP. Pro Yakyuu has the greatest physics engine in video games. Not just sports games! Are you going to be doing the 14 Mod or are you in the middle of a season with one of the others? I preferred NCAA '05 to '06. I can't recall the reason, but I think the pitching was just better in '05. I might check it out again sometime this summer.

The last thing I downloaded was the '13 Conversion mod and I'm in the 2015 season with the Red Sox. I might download the new mod after I finish the season I'm in.

I haven't purchased a baseball game since MVP. I loved everything about it & just haven't ever been able to adapt to the 2K games or the Show.

My favorite baseball sim series of all time. I loved MVP 03 and 04, I logged an obnoxious amount of time into 04's franchise mode.
EDIT: Anyone know how well MVP 05 runs on a Windows 7 PC?

I run mine on Win7, and it works fine. I put it on compatibility mode, even though I think it'd be fine without it.

If anyone has MVP 05 installed on your PC, head over to mvpmods and grab the 2015 mod. It's awesome.
