I am trying to start making some Mattel scale customs. Basic or Elite would be fine as they are for display only
Is there any simple swaps without painting that look cool? Just to get a feel for it.
Also do I need to boil them on hot water first before pooping heads and arms, etc?
Any help or photos would be appreciated

You do need to pop it off.
You can do a pretty simple Angle without paint. Jakks Kurt Angle head and then either any basic body with the Swager E5 removable singlet or the elite Jack Swagger WM26 body. I made mine with a Damien Sandow basic and I reckon it looks nice.
