Dumb question--for those of you who have done/are doing a diary starting in the past, where do you guys go to get a roster from that time period? Is it all memory or is there a site you look at?

Go to thehistoryofwwe.com, find the year of ring results (e.g. in my diary I started from November 1995, so I analysed "http://thehistoryofwwe.com/95.htm") and look carefully at the winners and losers of each show and write them down. If they're consistently shown in the house show/TV results, they're definitely a part of that roster. It's a bit annoying to do, but it's definitely the best, realistic way of getting a roster. The rosters on EWR and TEW are 9 out of 10 times always inaccurate.

Gonna return replies soon and get to work on Raw... I'm ready to get to Battleground because things really pick up after the PPV.
I mean... I didn't tell you that.

I finally decided on a new diary and I've began writing up shows in advance (like what Dan did with his sh*tty 98) to make sure I get some life out of it.
Now I'll sit here and wait to see someone start up the exact same diary before I get the chance to post mine.

I was actually considering a standalone diary for myself in the next couple of weeks... PM me what you're plan is cos if you're gonna do it, I won't.

It's no big deal if anybody else does it, really, it's just a diary starting from a fairly obvious point in the last year.

Ah that's not what I had in mind, so that's fine. But yeah, I'd probably guess at what Kev said.

If anyone would be willing to make me a graphic for ISW's upcoming Epidemic PPV, shoot me a PM.

Hopefully with a good deal of research and careful planning I may have a piece up in a couple of months.

Dumb question--for those of you who have done/are doing a diary starting in the past, where do you guys go to get a roster from that time period? Is it all memory or is there a site you look at? I generally use cagematch.net, which has a very detailed listing of every worker who worked for a promotion in a given year, and roughly what time frame they worked for that promotion. You can also see a look at what other promotions that competitor worked for that year, so as to plan out when they may or may not have been available. Question concerning my diary: Would you prefer the uber-detailed results I have done for Royal Rumble and my first IYH...or would you be okay with less detailed, but easier to write (and quicker too) results?

Most people usually save the big details for the Pay-Per-Views. Weekly shows tend to be quicker.
