I have a lot of hockey cards. Some of my favorite cards are my Steven Stamkos rookie card it is a top prospect rookie card from when he played on Sarnia Sting. What are your favorite cards you got? What cards are you looking for? I am looking for Nikita Zadorov and Zemgus Girgensons rookie card.

Cool to see other card collectors here, I only do NFL and as of recently, some WWE.
If anyone has some nice Vikings, let me know!!
I do have some hockey that I inherited, there's an Ilya Kovalchuk #'d rookie in there to give an idea as to when those cards are from.

I don't care for hockey, but I do own one hockey card, which is this one. I bought it in 1997 from a card shop that was going out of business for $100. It's in pretty good shape, and in my safety deposit box with several other of the more valuable cards that I collected over the years when I was into it.

Get it graded and buy a few cases of elites!

That's not an actual picture of mine, just a picture of it. However mine is almost in that good of condition.
Honestly, I hate paying for cards to be graded, and I would only do it if I were going to sell them. I don't know what elites are, as I quit buying sports cards a while back when they started doing all of those dumb limited release 1/1 cards and insert cards.

Yeah, I've never had anything graded for fear it would come back an 8 or less and sell for the same or less than an ungraded card. I mentioned cases of elite because I automatically assume everyone on these boards collect Mattels WWE line, haha. 2013 was the first year I did not buy cards in the 18 years I've collected sports cards due to the weak NFL draft. There is definitely potential if you pull one of those dumb limited insert cards, though. My biggest single card sale was back in 2007 on a Tony Romo card from 2003... $1,025.00. It was a nice little payday.

Oh. I don't collect figures.
I just hate the concept of the insert cards that are artificially rare. I preferred standard card sets with standard rookie cards and stars being the desired cards. Not to mention that every company has 20 different sets for each sport now. It's impossible to keep up with. That's why many years ago, I kept the crown jewels of my collection, and sold everything else and stopped buying.

I used to college hockey cards when I was really young. My favorite cards are Mike Bossy rookie, Jaromir Jagr rookie cards, Jeremy Roenick rookies, Eric Lindros rookies, Mike Modano rookies, and bunch from that era.
