Sad to hear about this; Big Daddy V always scared the heck out of me when I was a teenager. He was one of my favorite big men. Was always hoping he'd show up again. RIP.

Holy crap. Just very sad news. I was a fan of his work as Viscera and Big Daddy V and found him to be quite athletic for a guy his size. I thought he lost a ton of weight since being let go by the WWE.

About a year before Men on a Mission debuted in WWF, I had the pleasure of watching him and Mo compete in the USWA as the Harlem Knights. I was blown away by how agile he was for a big man. Since I lived in the weekly house show loop for the USWA, I had the privilege of going to the show on an almost weekly basis. During that time I was fortunate enough to hang around and meet several legends and would be wcw/wwf/ecw stars. Nelson (as he performed then under the name Nelson Knight) was one of them I got to meet regularly. He was one of the nicest guys I met in the business. I had no idea then that he was only 7 years older than me. A very cool person at that time. I'm glad he went on to have a moderate degree of success in the big time. RIP Nelson/Mabel/Viscera /Big Daddy.........you will be missed.

I remember getting his RA 16.5 figure at Christmas in 2005, still have it, got that whole set & few other figures. I absolutely loved him in 2005 when he turned face, he was very likeable.

RIP. I thought he lost a lot of weight recently too.... He did. He was the only one of the three MOM members who actually looked like he was in better condition after leaving the biz. I hope that doesn't mean there is more to this story than natural causes. Regardless, RIP King Mabel.

Damn... Rest In Peace. I remember being last row in the entire arena Royal Rumble 2007 and watching him come down the ramp in that white suit.

Can't believe he was only 43… that means he must have been 19 or 20 when he debuted. Thats shocking to me. Thought he was pretty good in the ring for such a big man and I always liked watching him. RIP

I just found out and could not beleive it! My favorite thing about wrestling was the larger then life wrestlers and big daddy v was one of them.
