I think if they didn't just spring this on us (the comic fans) out of no where and instead went to Marvel and said look we wanna make Johnny Storm an African American can we do something to get the audience use to the idea, then fans probably wouldn't be drastically upset about it. But as evidence by Fox's take on Marvel comics they don't care if it's true to the comics(DEADPOOL).

i gotta be honest, i love comics but i have never enjoyed the fantastic four - i stayed away from their last movies and unless i hear good things about this one i'll stay away from it, too.

And just by looking at the cast you could really tell this movie isn't going to be good. Such a horrible cast at least they could of done is get the characters right and not alter them. I just don't want to see a black man play Johnny Torch just leave the character alone as it is.
