If you could only watch one TV show for the rest of your life what would you choose and why?
For me it would be a toss up between Friends and The Big Bang Theory. My knee jerk reaction is to say Friends so that'd probably win out but Tspam is a VERY close second for me.
I'd choose one of those because they have great comedy but also make you feel for the characters and thus have their emotional moments.

I have one choice that I would go with in a heartbeat. And that is Doctor Who. In my opinion, the greatest invention of mankind.

Only Fools & Horses ( I know a lot of people on this site probably won't know what it is, but it is just great).

I'd have to pick something that's been on a long time with no end in sight...so, Monday Night Raw, obviously.

Oh man... that's tough. My brain is telling me to pick something that has a ton of episodes, but my heart is saying quality over quantity.
As of now, I'll say Battlestar Galactica (2004). I might feel differently once Game of Thrones has run its course though. BSG is brilliant. An amazing group of characters, multiple twists and suspense, traditional sci-fi elements, and an overall complete story. It's just everything I love about movies and film, all wrapped up into one nice package.

Damn, that's tough.
It's easy for me to say Lost, because I could spend forever analyzing and theorizing everything that went on in that show. It's also easy to take something like Breaking Bad, because it is, hands down, the best television show I've ever watched.
Something tells me to go with something a bit more light-hearted, though. Perhaps The Office? Or How I Met Your Mother? Damn, I don't even know.

I'd have to go with Simpsons. Most episodes I can watch over and over and it has a ridiculous amount of episodes which would stop me from overwatching each episode. Plus it's a very rewatchable show.

Yep, Simpsons for me too. 10 seasons of gold (give or take) and another 300 episodes on top of that.

I went through a phase of thinking the modern Simpsons episodes were terrible, and although the post Season 8 episodes are no where near as good as the pre S9 eps. They're mostly still great (better than most other shows). In fact I'd say the worst point of Simpsons was when Scully was the showrunner (9-12), since Al Jean took over again it's been much better (although some episodes like the Lady Gaga one are ridiculously bad).

The Simpsons. I could watch hours of it and not get tired. The show still makes me laugh like it used to.

Yeah the quality definitely dipped and then went back up after Scully left. There are some really funny and memorable episodes in like Seasons 13-16. The Simpsons since then is still funny but it's a little stale. We've pretty much seen every reasonable story for the characters so they end up retreading where they've already been. Like you said though, it's still better than about 75% of the shows on TV today.

Too many choices. One of Doctor Who, Simpsons, or Seinfeld.

The Simpsons, I could watch it endlessly and never be tired of it. Favorite show of all-time, easily.
My runner-up would be The X-Files.

I am kind of disappointed that only one person picked Breaking Bad. It is the highest rated tv series of all time. It is the best tv show of all time without a doubt. The writing, the acting, the spectacular visual images, the touch of comedy throughout, all contribute to its greatness in tv film. It follows one mans journey from family man to meth king and how he broke bad.
I do not think even one show could rival Breaking Bad.
