I'd pick Unsolved Mysteries, with Robert Stack.
Easily the greatest show ever in it's category. Scripted Sitcoms will eventually bore you.
If not Unsolved Mysteries then id pick Americas most wanted and Cops would be in 3rd place.

There's way too many tv shows I like to pick just one, but here's my top ones: Breaking Bad, Burn Notice, Justified, Dexter, The King of Queens.

Gah!!! How would you pick just one???
Friends, The X-Files, Boston Legal, Little House On The Prairie, ALF, Mr. Bean, Dinosaurs, Eureka, I Love Lucy, The Red Green Show, WWE Raw & SmackDown, The Simpsons, South Park, Boardwalk Empire, The Muppet Show... Seriously, it's too hard to pick just one. But, if you held a gun to my head and said choose or die... After seriously considering the bullet for a second, I'd have to pick...
Fraggle Rock.
I know I'll probably catch some flack for that see as how I'm a thirty year old man and it's considered a "kid's show", but I don't care. Fraggle Rock has been my all time favorite show since I was little and that hasn't changed since.

I am kind of disappointed that only one person picked Breaking Bad. It is the highest rated tv series of all time. It is the best tv show of all time without a doubt. The writing, the acting, the spectacular visual images, the touch of comedy throughout, all contribute to its greatness in tv film. It follows one mans journey from family man to meth king and how he broke bad. I do not think even one show could rival Breaking Bad. It's not even close to the highest rated TV series of all time. Unless you mean critically and not ratings. Also some people don't want to watch a drama for the rest of their lives. I'd prefer a comedy.

Might introduce my nephew to it when he gets a little older.

I have no problem with people saying Breaking Bad is the greatest show of all time. Technically speaking, it very well might be. The acting, storytelling, suspense, intelligence, I mean it's a masterpiece. That being said, I don't think it's the most entertaining show of all time, especially not for me. When it comes to replay value and diversity in presentation, it's not on the same level as other shows for me. If I'm completely honest, I think Sons of Anarchy is more entertaining than Breaking Bad. If you're looking for something on the opposite end of the spectrum, then shows like Seinfeld, Friends or The Simpsons are going to be more applicable. For me, that type of show would be Entourage but everyone likes something a little different.

So many.
Its a toss up between Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, and True Blood.
Going with Game of Thrones.

I think I have to go with the Office. I can't tell you how many seasons I've re-watched & I never get tired of it.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer. If Angel was thrown in there too as it's kind of part of Buffy then it'd be pretty hard not to put it as second.

There's actually a really nice complete series box set on amazon for about $75 (though you might be able to find it cheaper on eBay). I actually introduced my own nephew to it not too long ago and he loves the show now.

I'd probably go Seinfeld.
As much as I love Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Thrones, etc. I don't think I would be able to just watch one of those shows exclusively. They're too deep and require too much of a commitment for casual watching.
