I'm sure this year and next years flashbacks were supposed to be wrestlers that have expiring contracts w/ Mattel. But w/ Billy Gunn, Lex Luger, Rikishi, Road Dogg, X-Pac. RVD, Hulk Hogan and possibly Lita/Flair/Sting all signing within the last year.........I wouldn't be surprised if alot of those expiring contract Legends end up not getting figures  I'm happy to get all these new signees but there's going to be a sacrifice. People like Barry Windham, Tito Santana or Don Muraco will probably not get made. |

U can kinda use an elite 14 Del Rio for Tito and when they make an elite Alexander Rusev.....we'll have the tan version of Bruno's torso for Muraco. So yes, Heritage figs would do nicely |

But even still, you don't know that Mattel will use the same skin tone, and clearly they are different tones in these pictures, so you can't assume that you could use Del Rios body for an elite swap without making it look like Tito either has a horrible stomach virus or jaundice, like a great many fix ups we've seen on here. |

The way I see it, is wwe network will bring tons of business to wwe.... With hogan, flair and sting all potentially signing, wwe Mattel will be more popular than ever, and honestly, it's never been more popular than it is now.
I think there will be a lot more legends merchandise contracts coming up in the near future. If wwe network does well , there will be more demand for more things flashback wise.
And I think anyone and everyone that's not with another company is fair game.
They can only make so many figures of the current roster, here's hoping for more flashbacks next year

They need a Hulkamania sub-line. Just like Spider-man or Batman, crank out the Hulksters and throw in some supporting cast.

I'd love a SummerSlam 88 Mega Powers 3-pack, but I don't know how they could pull it off. They couldn't do a proper Elizabeth in that attire at a Basic price. Even if they could, they would probably consider it too big a sales gamble.

I still hope we can get a mr. America at some point, even if it's an exclusive. I kind of recall there being a rights issue with marvel because of captain America. The old wrestlemania ticket promotion figure that jakks did was going to be him, but they changed it to the American made one instead.
Sure it was a kinda goofy gimick, but he was pretty cool looking and would make an awesome figure

They can only make so many figures of the current roster not really....as there are a TON of current wrestlers and attires that don't get made. Drew McIntyre hasn't had an elite since 2011. All the wrestlers that got basics, but not elites: Dreamer, Hurricane, Shelton, Mike Knox, Chris Masters, Darren Young, Titus O'Neil, Usos, Otunga, ur boy Mason Ryan gimmicks that never got elites: Cody w/ a mustache, Yoshi w/ facepaint, Sin Cara Negro |
