Tassels

I am currently doing a Marty Jannetty custom and am wondering how you make the tassels like on the ultimate warriors boots, I need to make some for Jannettys boots, shoulder, arm bands, and leg

For the boot tassles, I've seen people get black electrical tape and cut ribbon and put it around the tape then put the tape around the leg. For the arms and shoulders, I guess, you could just tie some string around the part like they did for BCA Warrior
