Wrestlemania Rewind - Tuesday, August 6 - 9:00 pm ET - 10:00 pm ET. Wrestlemania XXVII - No Holds Barred - The Undertaker vs Triple H. Blah. My least favorite of their Mania matches. Its second to me. The Hell In A Cell is so overrated. That match is 25% substance and 75% sizzle. It just doesn't do it for me. Mania 17 will always be my favorite of their encounters.

Just got done watching SummerFest from 2009. The CM Punk/Jeff Hardy match (as well as the entire feud) was fantastic. I'm really glad that they ended the PPV with this match instead of Cena/Orton which had the screwy finish with Ted DiBiase's brother interfering.
Plus, the return of The Undertaker for the first time since WrestleMania 25 was handled pretty well. DX and Rhodes/DiBiase match was pretty good as well.

Their FCA HIAC was awesome.

Repeating content already and it isn't even 5 months old lol. They've had repeat content before. It helps to space out the new episodes. It's not like they aren't added new content. They aired a rerun instead of a new episode, but have a new episode in the on demand section. No clue why it wasn't aired on the live stream but still.

I love how on every SNME, when they interview a wrestler before the match he's rarely wearing the same attire he immediately walk to the ring with lol

Yeah, they didn't do a very good job of hiding the fact that most of those interviews would be pre-taped, most likely not on the same day.

I'm looking forward to Best of Raw from 1997 and Best of Smackdown from 2003 tonight!

Yeah, they didn't do a very good job of hiding the fact that most of those interviews would be pre-taped, most likely not on the same day. Mean Gene Okerlund mentioned in his 2006 RF Video shoot interview that he would have to do a series of three-minute promos for about three hours. You have to remember that most of their shows were compiled together in post-production. I hear that up to the Spring of 1988, all of the commentary was done live. After that, the commentating was done in-studio.

I knew that. What I was referencing was the fact that they didn't put a ton of effort into continuity because of it. You would get things like Warrior running out with completely different gear and paint than he just had in a "backstage" interview, or in the cases of things like The Main Event with Andre, Hogan walking out with an entirely new World Championship when he had the old one on his waist moment before. It takes away from some of the shows of you're the kind of person bugged by continuity errors.

I'm beyond hype for another 97 Raw tonight. I might check out Smackdown too because I haven't been watching those and I love 02-04 smackdown.

Smackdown from 02-04 speaks for itself.

What's the description? I honestly haven't watched any of the 98 Raws. I just did research and it is, in fact, a new upload. It's from a week or so after Over The Edge. Description: "Mr. McMahon gives Dude Love a chance to become number one contender for Stone Cold's WWE Title. Plus, DX, Kane, Undertaker and many more."

HIAC is on demand as today's countdown but they aired finishers instead. Weird. Gonna watch the HIAC countdown now. Yeah I noticed that when I went to the WWE Countdown page - wanted to see when the Top Ten Fantastic Finishers episode actually aired - and saw that you can watch the Top Ten-Hell In The Cell Matches episode right away. I'm one not to watch stuff ahead of time before it airs on a network so I'll most likely wait until its shown next Tuesday. (I also like watching Wrestlemania Rewind and WWE Countdown back to back.) Thats if its even going to shown then. Did anyone watch Top Ten-Fantastic Finishers - when it was shown on the WWE Network - and did they promote that Top Ten-Hell In The Cell Matches will be next weeks show? If its not, I'll probably still watch it then - just will have to go to the WWE Countdown page and watch it via demand after I watch the latest Wrestlemania Rewind via the "LIVE" WWE Network stream.

We will feel even older ten years from now.
