Very cool, nice, recap of the first episode of RAW. I can tell you it was a hot atmosphere when the weather on the outside was cold. I wouldn't get to see how it came off on TV till 2008. I have not attended a RAW live since then. I marked out when i aw myself during the Demento/Taker match.

The cruiserweights never really got the recognition they really deserved.
That episode of the Monday Night Wars made me miss Eddie so much more than I have.
Such a great wrestler. RIP

I think WWE needs to do a week of The Ruthless Aggression Era, just like what they did with the Attitude Era. Or maybe even a week of The New Generation Era.

Something I noticed on the archive, unless for whatever reason I have a parental block (which would be weird cause I never put one), they removed almost all the content where the blood was not grayed out (the viewer advised versions). Not a big deal, but I wish they would have kept that if I'm right about it.

You know, I was excited about watching tonight's episode of the Monday Night Wars because it was about Goldberg, and then I watch the preview and it turns into a "lol, WCW screws everything up" type of episode.

Lol, I'm not even surprised about that. If any company screwed Goldberg up it was the WWE. It still kinda pisses me off that they didn't pull the trigger on him winning the WHC at SummerSlam '03.

John Cena criticizing Goldberg for his character lacking dimension is like Hornswoggle mocking someone for being too short.

Just got done with the Goldberg episode. I think it was the best one so far. A lot of brutally honest comments and interviews. Good stuff.

I skipped the Austin episode. I've seen everything I could possibly see on Austin's run at the top.
Midway through the Cruiserweight episode before I eventually catch the Goldberg one.

Everybody is brutally honest about Goldberg and, in turn, Goldberg is brutally honest about everyone else.

I seriously don't get the criticism of the Monday Night Wars portrayal of WCW. So far I feel like WCW has been given plenty of credit for all the things it did right. Yes, it covers how WCW blew it with everything, but they spend plenty of time on the good side of the coin as well to help illustrate what they had and squandered or wasted. The Cruiserweight episode last week was a prime example. A huge amount of the time was spent talking about how groundbreaking the division was and what it meant to wrestling as a whole, with WCW getting the credit for launching that style.

I liked the Goldberg episode, probably one of the best ones in that episode. I'm glad they never mentioned Goldberg's time in WWE and that they stuck with his time in WCW cause I was starting to think that they would mention Goldberg going to WWE in 2003 despite the Monday Night Wars being over at that time. It's funny that they basically skipped everything he did between the Fingerpoke of Doom episode and the episode where he suffered his arm injury. Like the way they did it made it sound as if he got injured a few weeks after he lost the title and returned a year later. I hope we get a Sting episode for this series.

Ok, one thing the Network is doing right is the Beyond the Ring section. F*** YES!!!! They're airing the Brian Pillman documentary. Anyone who hasn't seen, watch it! It's a very good documentary, probably one of the favorites. I've been asking for months to get the Pillman documentary uploaded and finally they do!
