When Cena goes it will be like getting rid of that comfortable couch, you know the one that has holes, your A$$ shape moulded into it, covered in stains... But its still part of the furniture & its been there for year's! Sure you could dump it and go for a new shiny, highly flamable leather couch but it wouldn't be the same... Can you imagine a living room without a couch?! WWE is the living room, John Cena is a comfortable couch. I feel like farting and taking a sh*t all over your couch..

Hopefully when he leaves he takes Orton with him. They've put on lots of great matches over the years, but I would not miss either of them.

Whether you like him or not, when he leaves the WWE is going to have a huge void to fill. I honestly think people would appreciate him more if he was gone for more than two months (with constant updates). Cena is the only star they have made in the past 10 years, that is why they are struggling to keep/increase ratings. As soon as they start losing ratings with someone, instead of fixing the creative faults, they all but completely give up on building the guy as a star and just let them float around the card until people just lose interest. This can be seen in guys like: Ziggler, Sandow, Both the Rhodes Brothers(to an extent), Christian, Punk(from 2008-2011), Tensai, etc. It is actually quite sad how little they have done to elevate anyone but Cena to the point where Cena has expressed displeasure about it.

I'd cry like a baby the day Cena leaves. He isn't my favourite but I love the guy. He is more dedicated then any other top guy EVER (Hogan joined WWF's rivals and almost put WWF outta business. Steve Austin "took his ball and went home" etc).

I won't necessarily miss the stale character, but I will undoubtedly miss the very positive things Cena brings to the table. His outside media presence, his ambassadorship, and most importantly, his ability to have one hell of a match when the lights are on bright.
