I need to know the best method for this. I have split one torso..no problem..but the second one is making me very angry. I have stress marks on it and I need to get it split but not break it. The advice will be very thankful. I also need to know how I can get rid of the stress marks if possible.

I recommend going very slow with it. Boil it, then take a screw driver and work around the inside of the chest opening for the arm, slowly prying apart the seams.
