Sorry if a similar post has been done before, but I have a question regarding painting the rubber accessories of the Jakks figures.
What is the best kind of paint to use when painting it?
I myself have used auto touchup paint, since it adheres to rubber like a dream. Problem is tho it's rather pricey (over $5 for a little bottle) it's only available in gloss finish (sometimes I want it to be Matte) and it isn't readily available in a big assortment of colors. I know you can't use Testors model paint, that stuff is horrible on rubber, it never cures and stays forever tacky.
So please, if you have any suggestions/recommendations, be specific....brand name, price, where you buy it, etc.
Thanks to any and all that can help.

just use acrylic paint, and a few coats of sealer.

You have to use flat acrylic paints. Avoid any gloss paints, because as you said it'll stay tacky forever. PJ

I hate sealer. It makes stuff too shiny.
