So I am 76% done with New Game Plus and I think that is as far as I am going to get. That is after finding the second root and defending it you need to fight off 40 drones and they drop at least 15-20 as soon as the level opens with at least 3 launching missiles strikes at you at the very start. The closest I got was down to 16. So I think I am stuck there...because I doubt I will be able to beat them and advance. lol I'm starting to struggle with the larger amount of diamond-backs. They always seem to turn around just as I'm about to lock in the target. Do you have any upgrade points? If so, try and increase the Batmobile's armour strength and 60mm cannon fire power.

My Batmobile is fully upgraded. Seeing how much the Batmobile was featured that was the first thing I upgraded besides Batman's armor.

I'm mostly avoiding this thread so that I can avoid spoilers, but I just wanted to pop in and say how much I love the Riddler race tracks.
Can't wait until I unlock more of them, and now I'm REALLY excited for the DLC tracks.

Decided to go and watch walkthrough videos because heaven knows how long it'll be till I buy a PS4 haha!
Erm Im not too sure what to say about it, obviously no spoilers, but personally I didn't think it was as good as the last three, especially not as good as City. I felt like the character of Batman was different from the one we saw in the last three games; he's way too stubborn to the point I started getting pissed at him and it didn't make sense why he'd go alone at points.
I felt the story was very convoluted and was a little TOO big and out there, not to mention I found characters would almost be forgotten about for large chunks of time then randomly pop up again and you yourself totally forget they even existed in the game.
My last gripe is with the batmobile, I saw a review which put it perfectly: its fun initially to wade through the city in the batmobile, but after a while it gets repetitive and you'd much rather do it by air (glide), and it'd be quicker to do this too, so they spend so much of the game trying to justify having the car in it. The tank spots were SO boring and seemed to go on for ages!
But what I did like was the visuals, and the inclusion of so many characters, not just the story but side missions too. And yeah, likes been said, the endings are really cool.
I'd like to see more Arkham games, maybe set them in the past like Origins, but tbh I dont think they'll ever beat City, that game I think is gonna live on as THE Batman game for a long time

So I just German Suplexed a thug....Gotham City bitch?
Also got to the reveal of the Arkham Knight and whilst it was who I expected, it was still a pretty damn awesome reveal.

Finished the main story and I have to say, it was a fantastic way to end the series.....but I prefer Arkham City overall. Time finish cleaning up Gotham before activating 'Knightfall'....whatever that means....I'm intrigued.

Finished the game this morning and overall I have to say I was hugely disappointed with this game. The story was meh and not very interesting. I really disliked how the game was pretty much 95% Batmobile. Also not a fan of them forcing you into doing side story stuff just to see the ending of the game. Then on top of that you only get the good ending if you finish everything including all the Riddler stuff. This game really fell flat for me and was not a good way to finish off the series. Out of the four Arkham games this comes in last (yes I even liked Origins better). I think City is still the best one they made.
I do have to say I loved the Harley story pack. I just wish it was longer because it's super short.

How the do you beat the mini gunner in Staggs ship? I can get every one of the militia guys without being touched but I cant beat the minigunner at all.

Is that the guy with the gun like the Body had in Predator? If so you strike him a few times and when he goes to strike you counter and repeat the process. I think it is 4 counter moves.

I just finished it and I have to say, it was amazing. I'm still trembling from that ending and it was such an emotional experience from start to finish. I loved the new touches on gameplay and while I feared that the Batmobile would suck due to everyone's reactions, I really didn't have many problems with it at all. Except the Cobra tanks. those things. The Arkham Knight's identity became pretty obvious after a certain point, but it's not a reveal I disliked. I think it was a good choice anyway. The story was amazing through and through and all of the little side missions were fun. There were only two Riddler challenges that really busted my balls. There was only one boss fight I found completely underwhelming and a missed opportunity, but I think it's considered a spoiler so I can't say who it is. For those who have played the game, it's the guy who appears after the Knight's identity is revealed. Overall, I had so much fun with the game and loved the story. I don't want another Arkham game now and if there has to be one, I'd only want it to be something along the lines of Batman Beyond. This wrapped things up so nicely. I think it's definitely the best in the series and if I don't count Origins, it's one of the only game series where I can safely say that they got better with each game, even if City took a while to grow on me. Now the question is, where do they go from here? Batman is a cash cow and Rocksteady make great games. Maybe Superman is in store...? Justice League? I hope there's another project on the horizon and I can't wait to see it.

I had a far amount of concern when they stated that the Batmobile would be used as a tool for various puzzles and game tactics outside of just driving it. I thought the idea of the Batmobile was fantastic, and something I've wanted in an open world Batman game for a long time. But I really didn't want it to become a gimmick. I am in the boat of those that feel this has been done masterfully, and without any other complains beyond one. To avoid spoilers, I'll just say that I feel like Batmobile #2 has FAR better handling than Batmobile #1. And that is the one thing that really bugged me towards the beginning of playing it. However, I feel I have a great deal of control now either though a true improvement in handling from #1 to #2, or just an improvement in eyeing corners. Either way, I've never felt burdened by having to use it in any situation it is needed, and enjoyed when the game would include it in a puzzle or battle but not make it immediately known by a button command. Now that I'm roughly 96% done ( ing Riddler Trophies.....4 games and I'm still looking for ing trophies....) I would have to say that my favorite part of this game is easily the Batmobile. The story is fantastic as I expected, and the nods to all of the previous games including Arkham Orgins were great. Combat feels very tight and I welcome the new takedowns and combos. But all the tech aside, the car steals the show. It reminds me a lot of Need for Speed Most Wanted that came out a few years ago from the driving part, and I'll be damned if launching out isn't just the coolest looking thing in the game. I really enjoyed all of the combat parts with it as well. I don't typically find myself playing Challenge Maps, and I've tried my hand at every one featuring the car. I imagine to each their own, but I couldn't imagine this game without the car. I don't know if I'd want to go back and try playing another of the games in a short time of this one because they would feel incomplete. The theme for the game was to Be the Batman. In ways that playing Madden allows you to feel like the Quarterback or WWE games allow you to feel like a specific wrestler. It's in a odd way a simulation game, if you think about it. An ultimate experience for someone within a world of fantasy. I welcome the next few months worth of DLC, and haven't even cracked the Harley and Red Hood ones. The core game itself was well worth the price, and if anything, it increased my confidence that I didn't waste the money for the Season Pass.

This game to me is amazing, it's my new favorite of the Arkham trilogy honestly. The story was cool and the side missions were fun, especially the Most Wanted crime. I am under 50 riddles left to completing the game. And then New game plus I guess.
