Well no sweep as Kyle Larson wins the Xfinity race. Also, former Truck driver Rick Crawford is in jail with no bond for trying to pick up a child for sex.

We get so many boring & redundant races now days and with sponsorship being harder to get a hold of, I think NASCAR should cut their races down and race bi-weekly. Id do a 20 race schedule and a 8 race playoff. Some weeks would be back to back weeks (like for west coast swings) but for the most part they would be bi-weekly. The weeks Cup isnt racing the Xfinity & Trucks would be racing.
This would..
A) Give drivers/crew more time off throughout the year
B) Cost owners less (less travel, less money spent on cars, less damage on cars etc)
C) More demand for NASCAR (many tracks would be losing their 2nd race so demand for race tickets would increase because you dont have a 2nd chance in a year to see the race). Possibly even more money because instead of having 2 1/4 filled tracks you'd have 1 sold out race.
D) Fans wouldnt get burnt out of the same old boring thing. Most of your tracks losing a 2nd race would be the cookie cutter tracks.
E) Traditional tracks/races would see their 2nd race as a playoff race (Daytona, Bristol, Darlington, Charlotte etc) adding more prestige to the playoffs
I know it will never happen but races like the past two weeks are the kinds of races that make me stop watching until they get to a traditional track again.

Hopefully we see a good race today. Ryan Blaneys scheme this week is sick! eh I thought the contrasting yellows was rough.

Hopefully we see a good race today. Ryan Blaneys scheme this week is sick! eh I thought the contrasting yellows was rough. Felt the same why, the neon yellow numbers and rims clashed dreadfully with the Pennzoil yellow. Maybe if they had kept the yellow on the hood, and made the rest of the body in black...

DIdnt catch the race today but sounds like I missed absolutely nothing so I guess there is that You missed the new "mandated" air gun for pit stops continuing to look like dog s*** and Kyle Busch making a run from 7th or 8th to 2nd on the final green flag stint. Other than that.. nope. EDIT: About the photo of Kevin Harvick's roof.. betcha someone smarter than me figured out how to make the roof flex at higher speeds but "reset" properly at low speeds so it'd fit all the measurements post-race.

I like dominating performances so I have no problem with Harvick winning. I'd be a hypocrite if I said otherwise because I enjoy Kyle's dominance.

Oh. Another dominating race by Harvick. Anyone see the crap that MTJ got for dominating last year yet? No? Okay. Just so we're on the same page.

The Vegas race might've been a dud, but thanks to the power of the Neon Garage I was able to walk 2 feet from Jack Roush, an indestructible man we should all strive to become.

I went to Vegas and actually was able to get Cold passes which allowed me into the garage until like a half hour before the race. He was one of the guys I met

It makes it feel more worth the effort to get there then just finding my seat and sitting till the race is over and it's always cool to see the drivers and owners up close just moseying about in the morning.

Yeah I loved the cold pass watching them go through inspection and just being able to go wherever the hell you want was cool. I do want to get a hot pass for a race but they are pretty pricey as you have to buy a sponsorship package usually. I was able to meet a fair share of drivers with the cold so I was happy.

Because of Chase being a bitch on the radio and complaining about the 4, Harvick gets hit with a big penalty, Vegas win encumbered. Lost some respect for Chase for this.

Remember folks...This is "being a bitch"...Never mind the fact it was plastered all over Reddit, Twitter, Facebook and pretty much every outlet of social media and everyone in the NASCAR community said there was going to be penalties... Chase Elliott saying "Yea looks like the rear glass bows" when his crew chief asks him, is "being a bitch"
