Spencer Gallagher and Brandon Jones are living proof that if your daddy has enough money.. you too can tell r/NASCAR to go themselves.

StarCom Racing to field 2 cars at Dover, the 00 with Landon Cassill, and the 99 with Derrike Cope.
Eagles LB Jordan Hicks, and 94WIP announcers Merrill Reese and Mike Quick are named the honourary starters for Dover this weekend.
And a bit of sad news, 1966 NASCAR ROTY James Hylton and his son, James Hylton Jr were killed in an accident last Saturday. James Sr. was 83, his son was 61.

The Spencer Gallagher news is pretty unfortunate. After he won and they interviewed him and his Dad and all that it was all the commentators and drivers could talk about for the rest of the weekend cause they were all so happy for him. Now it turns out he and Jeremy Mayfield are bros.

Either I’m losing interest or nascar has been boring this year Its hit or miss...They've watered down the product with the tracks/racing that they do. Races at unique tracks interest me, even if the race is boring (Daytona, Talladega, Bristol, Indianapolis, Martinsville, Dover, Road courses etc) but when they get to the cookie cutter tracks even though they're suppose to be "different" (Atlanta, Texas, Chicago, Fontana etc) I find the races super boring. They're usually not very competitive and you can predict the winner being one of about 4 drivers.
