The two drivers that should win the championship (Kevin Harvick or Kyle Busch) not winning the championship yet the new most popular driver winning would be the most quintessential NASCAR thing ever. I'm not sure if it's Jimmie Johnson falling ass backwards into a record tying championship in 2016.. but it'd be pretty damn close.
EDIT: Also.. going to miss seeing drivers rip the top at Kansas (and other tracks) because that's going to go bye-bye next year.
I’m nervous as hell about the package NASCAR is going with next year. I pray it’s not as bad as I’m thinking it will be. I welcome it. Hopefully the days of final 20 laps of cars spread out 1 second apart simply "making left turns" will be behind us. Regardless of who wins, I look forward to seeing close racing again.

If Kyle cant win it, I'd love for Chase to win it. he's been red hot lately. and You don't just fall into 7 championships, Jimmie was just that damn good

I said that he fell ass backwards into his seventh championship which is pretty accurate given everything that happened in that race. He won his seventh championship by leading three laps in a race where the two best championship eligible drivers tangled on a restart caused by a questionable yellow. I'd call that falling into a championship.

I’m nervous as hell about the package NASCAR is going with next year. I pray it’s not as bad as I’m thinking it will be. I really feel the worst part about the aero package change is NASCAR is basically ignoring everyone who has voiced their issue with the aero package including those within the sport and fans of the sport. They then attempt to up sell the aero package by saying that it's to put the races back into the hands of the drivers and make the races better for the fans. NASCAR already has television ratings / attendance / sponsorship issues and pissing off a large part of your fans isn't going to help matters. Neither is making your already condemned sport look even easier.

Seems like the wins are gonna pile up for Chase in the coming years, just had to get that first monkey off his back and now it's off to the......races.

Glad MTJ got through on points. Points won't work in the Round Of 8. He's gotta win one of the 3 to move on to Miami. Did NOT have a good car the last 2 races. Almost seems like since the FRR closure was confirmed, his cars have been shyte. Not calling any conspiracy to his cars being bad when they're bad. But I hope that 78 crew realizes how close they were to not competing in this next round, and get him some good equipment to win one of the next 3 and punch his ticket to Homestead.

Always look forward to Martinsville week. The track mom, dad, my brother and me attended a lot when I was growing up.
We always sat in the first turn.
Also the Roval finish was crazy, hope they do that again next year..

Good ol' racing at the finish. NASCAR wouldn't be hurting if more races ended like that, no forced shootouts necessary.

I don't know. A guy races you clean as possible for 5+ laps or so and then you move him the 1st chance you get?
A lot was on the line, a lot, and it was Martinsville, and he hit him square, didn't really turn him, so I get it, so I can't blame Logano too much. Most would do the same probably.
Martin raced him clean for a lot of laps though. Good finish however and I didn't care who won. Watched the last 12 laps or so.

Ive got no problem with rubbin someone or "putting the bumper" to them as they keep calling it. As long as you dont out and out wreck them and spin them out. Its fair game.

Who had Martin being worse at losing after a bump and run than Kyle Busch in 2018?!

Its racing but Logano. Hope Truex pulls a kenseth on him, Truex would be the biggest babyface.
