Great race and even a better finish. I was hoping Harvick or Almirola could get it done but couldn't get it done.

I don't think it was Bowyer it was Stewart's 4th car Custer. I don't know about Newman but Cole came in early on their last stop and was running in the top 10 that last long run so he must've been really low in gas.

Glad Harvick finally checked off Pocono but after watching this race I like to know who at NASCAR thought it was a good idea to race Pocono back to back days.

Not a bad race today but hope if NASCAR wants to do the back to back days next year they pick a different track. Hate it Harvick couldn't make it back to back but all 4 cars had good races both days Eric been on a great run so helpfully he can keep that up.
Another good Xfinity race Briscoe had a great comeback getting his 4th win of the season so happy that Stewart and Hass decided to make another run at the Xfinity championship and kept Chase in the 98. Haven't watched the truck race yet might put that off till couple days I seen little more Pocono this week to last me for a while

Personally, I never enjoyed the "Pocono sandwich" during the summer months. Add in the old Indy date, it was way too much single-file, spread-out, one pass every 10 laps racing in 8-10 week span. They had it fixed when the Brickyard was the regular season finale, but at least we can knock its races out in one weekend now.

I can't say I've ever been a big fan of Jimmie but I hope he comes back for one more year after everything going on with Covid and now having himself he deserved a better sendoff then this and I hope he gets it and hope him and his wife has a quick recovery.

Getting 7 championships and being "irrevocably" placed among the best ever not good enough for a career?

Getting 7 championships and being "irrevocably" placed among the best ever not good enough for a career? True but I think every great player/driver should have a great finish of their careers they did so much for the sport. Not just for the driver but a lot of his fans will never get to see him race again live if he hangs it up this year imo that's a shame. As a huge Tony Stewart fan I still hate it to this day that he missed so many races his last season he didn't have the career JJ had but three Cups and almost 50 wins isn't bad but I hope I would got more chances to see him in that final season

Yesterday's Xfinity race was one of the best road course races I've seen in a long time, the last ten laps had me on the edge of my seat. So glad Chase is having the great season he's having when I heard him throw out the 8 win season I didn't think he could come close here we are this early in the season and he's already has 5 so glad I was wrong and maybe next time AJ and Cindric should worry more about the guy that's pretty much dominate the season so far instead of each other.
Really good race so far at the Brickyard hope we get a great finish.

Was really hoping Custer could get his first career win but if he couldn't get it glad Harvick could. Another great day and weekend for Stewart Hass and so happy to hear Stewart's name got brought up as many times as it did this week really shows how much he ment to NASCAR and the Indy track.
Hope Blaney crew member is ok seemed like he was but that was really scary and hope all the drivers that had the hard crashes are ok.

Part of me wishes ol' Rocking Chair Matt could have pulled it out somehow lol. Hamlin still struggles to get that monkey off his back sometimes. Wished I had a little more time to actually cheer a 48...
Lots of blowouts causing hard impacts. Reminded me a little of years ago, when issues plagued the race and we couldn't get 20 laps in without the track chewing up the tire compound.
1 down, 8 to go.

Reminded me a little of years ago, when issues plagued the race and we couldn't get 20 laps in without the track chewing up the tire compound. 1 down, 8 to go. I wanted Custer or the two other Stewart cars to get the win but I wouldn't have been upset if Matt couldve got it done. I'm not a Hamlin fan at all but I even felt sorry for him yesterday how he lost that race. This last year and a half is the strongest I've ever seen Denny, him and Harvick are having some great battles it's hard to believe with all the good cars in NASCAR right now they got half the wins . I'm just glad nobody got bad injuries from the crashes and on pit row it could be been really bad. That Brickyard race was easily the worst race I've ever seen,I don't think by the end of that race it was a handful of drivers that didn't blow a tire

Johnson cleared to come back this weekend at Kentucky after negative tests. Convenient...
Also, all NASCAR divisions will make their debuts on the Daytona road course in August, filling in for Watkins Glen.

I'm happy Jimmie didn't miss the 2-3 races like he suppose to but hate it for him he didn't get to go to Indy. Hope him and his family are doing well and he enjoys he last 20 or so races and gets in victory lane at least one more time.

We can all agree the real story of the season is Matt Kenseth and his old balls telling the kids to sit down.
