I don't think I've seen a driver be on a streak like Cindric been on. Hope Chase gets things going in the right direction before the playoffs start.

Great day for Stewart Hass, Harvick sweeping the stages and the win and picking up the regular season championship so he added a extra 22 bonus points today to his total and Briscoe getting back to his winning ways that's not counting Aric locking up a playoff birth and Bowyer real close and Cole looking great this weekend. Hate it for Jimmie that close but still not able to close the deal but one good thing looks like he's got a really good shot at one of the two spots up for grabs, really hope he gets in.
I haven't watched all the Indy 500 race yet but glad Sato got the win he's had a couple get away from him.

Pigot is extremely lucky to be able climb out of that. I'm sure if there were paying fans in the stands they would have tried to give them a green finish.
Can't recall the last time the coverage spent so much time concentrated on one driver, but I'm sure it was all about the 48 then too.

Bubba Wallace has informed RPM he will not return to the 43, assumedly to take a ride elsewhere. A new driver announcement from RPM is expected in the near future.
Some more news:
Jimmie Johnson plans to run two years' worth of road/street courses in a Chip Ganassi Indycar after stepping away full-time from NASCAR.
NASCAR has the desire to repurpose Auto Club Speedway, planning to construct a ½ mile Martinsville-style paperclip with banking in the turns similar to Bristol.

Ive always pushed to have NASCAR races pushed to Fri/Sat nights thinking they would get more attention but not going to lie...I keep forgetting these damn things are on.
Really excited to see what they do with Fontana. The way they make it sounds reminds me of those electric race tracks you could get as a kid that has those huge high banked turns.
Hope RPM finds another driver and doesnt have to shut their doors. NASCAR without Petty just doesnt seem right. However Im ready for Bubba to go to another team and be mediocre as hell just like Aric Almirola is so the people saying "Bubba just needs better equipment" can finally shut up.

All 4 races this week wasn't to fun to watch but seems like the Cup race was the worst of them imo. I know it's a long shot but I'm really hoping Cole,Clint and Aric can make it to the next round all three been running around top 10 both races but can't get any stage points. I can't believe Dillon has run this good last two weeks I thought for sure he would get knocked out in the first round. I don't know what's more surprising him being in by this much or Blaney being out by this much.

Latest scuttlebutt is Hendrick will attempt to bring the "N Guy" back to the Cup Series. Erik Jones or Daniel Suarez to the 43, while Bubba keeps being linked to a small team that will be purchased by Denny Hamlin. Read NASCAR would have to bend some rules for that, as any car Hamlin may field could be considered a fifth JGR entry while he is still racing for them.

beyondtheflag.com/2020/09/21/nascar-denny-hamlin-michael-jordan-team-confirmed/As have been the rumors, Germain Racing (owners of the 13 driven by Ty Dillon) has sold its NASCAR charter after Geico decided to end its sponsorship at the end of the year. The buyer: Michael Jordan. Denny Hamlin is expected to join in an ownership stake and Bubba Wallace being the driver, sharing an agent with Hamlin. Also, word is COTA road course will be one of 4 new tracks added to the NASCAR schedule next year, and Texas Motor Speedway gaining the All Star Race after sacrificing a points-paying weekend. 2021 schedule expected to be revealed soon.

Can NASCAR ever sort out if driver safety or fan satisfaction is more important, and stick with their decision for a hugging change?

No b*tching allowed about how this race has been. NASCAR wanted chaos, they got it today.
The first time it seems Denny has been on the good end of a NASCAR fiasco. Sad Face MattyD has gotta be a meme by now...
They took away the runner-up spot from the 21 for blocking the 24 as a kicker. 17 retains sixth after "driving into" Hamlin's path. SMFH.

Denny & Chase both honestly should be penalized for going below the yellow line. Chase clearly passed below it and Denny went through a whole freaking turn below it.
Edit: Seeing the replay, there's no way you cant either let Denny & Chase both off or penalize both of them. The 17 literally comes down on both of them at different points.
