Honestly I dont think Ganassi was ever 100% invested in NASCAR in the first place. I think his desire has always been open wheel. I expect Kurt Busch to be the odd man out though. I dont know how many teams are gonna want a mediocre aging driver right now so it could very well be the end of his career. How it sounds MJ and Denny is really interested in Kurt. I don't know if its got something to do with Kyle,Monster sponsorship or something else but seems like he could be Bubba's teammate next year. |

News that Atlanta Motor Speedway will be getting a facelift after this week's Xfinity/Cup races. Plans are to narrow the racing surface overall and increase the banking in the turns to 28°, the steepest outside of the superspeedways. The project is planned to be completed for a possible spring date next year. iRacing was used to conceptualize the design, and released footage seemed to indicate more of a pack-racing style. Interesting note that drivers were not consulted in the decision or design process.  |

Stewart can't catch a break,I was thinking this was gonna be his best chance at a win so far this year but had another awful finish. Good race until all the cautions at the end but it still held my interest,different tracks are a plus for me. Might be just me but Eldora felt like a bigger deal then these other dirt races but still fun.

As had been expected, Austin Cindric will be kept in house for 2022, officially being announced as driver for the 2 next year.
With next year's plans blown up, Wood Brothers are choosing to call up Harrison Burton to replace Matt DiBenedetto for the 21.

Hate it for Matty D but imo this is a big upgrade, Burton got the talent to become a big deal in the sport and Matt is struggling to make the chase. Hopefully Matt finds something and continues to look for that first win,he seems like a great guy and loves the sport.

I'm happy SHR finally got a win but now this puts Happy(their best shot at a title) even closer to the cut line but he's not a contender for the cup now anyways. Hoping this win and Harvick leading some laps improves the whole company.

Great last 10 laps! So happy Briscoe has been running great the last couple weeks but not looking forward to the playoffs with how Harvick been running. Hope Larson or Chase can win it all if Harvick can't get it going.
