Does anyone else remember a few months back Hogans Beach Shop posted a message on Facebook that they desperately needed a black shirt Hogan sent to the shop just for a few days. They said they would return it to the original owner autographed by Hogan when they were done with it. Seems kinda odd that the exact figure they needed was on the show tonight. How could Jordan sell it to Taboo if Hogan was gonna sign it and return it to the original owner. I like watching Toy Hunter, but it just goes to show how set up some of these reality search and sell show really are.

Well, Jordan even says at the end of the show that if you have a rare or unique item you'd like to see featured on the show to let him know through Travel Channel's website. I'm sure most of the really rare stuff that they "find" they already know they're going to find and most of it is a set up. I still like the show though because I enjoy seeing the toys from my childhood.

I'm just gonna say it LJN figs have always been crap pieces of brick that I used to use as a weapon to attack my brother with when we were kids. They're completely for nostalgic reasons honestly. Just like Kenner's Starting lineup figures. Poorly detailed, looks nothing like the players but they were part of childhoods everywhere. Crazy talk.

I laughed at how Tim Ash has one of the biggest collections ever, and they spent 2 mins there and only bought 1 figure.

Just got done watching this. I always wondered with as big as wrestling figures were in the 80s, why they never really focused on them. Scripted or not, it was fun seeing the biggest enjoyment of my childhood on their show

-- $800,000 when he kicks the bucket...
Granted, it'll be worth somewhere in the 4 digits after he's dead and gone, but $800,000... Had a little chuckle from that. I'll giggle again a little later.

Tim still rockin the derby. not a derby. its a golf hat...or cabbie hat. My great grandpa used to rock one of those alot. Its a unique look to say the least. I try not to wear hats that make me look like i sell newspapers from the early 1900's. You're trying to tell me that the "Greatest collection in the world" and they could only find 1 flipping figure? LOL! Should have flown over seas and looked through Stoms collection yeh....but STOM's not parting w/ any of that stuff.

As wrestling fans, can we really nit pick about a pre-determined outcome set up for a "reality show?"

Is Tim Ash gonna scam Jordan like he did those wedding planning events? What's the deal here? I googled it and all I saw was a Facebook post claiming a company named Special Occasions bilked them out of 300.

Yeah, but the tool who is the star of Toy Hunters doesn't put his body on the line or keep us on the edge of our seats with action or excitement... he's just a tool ripping people off.
