Didn't think I'd be taken seriously by suggesting that locking yourself in a cage and eating from a bowl was a metaphor. Or at least a good one. You could sell me a bridge any day, man.

Molson is my forget-the-day of choice. Too late for that.

You weren't really taken seriously, as I chose to ignore your joke instead. How I picture you; If you could find a picture of a stoned Eastwood, then it would be accurate. Shawn - You live in PA where Yuengling is brewed, and you choose to drink Molson? I question your manhood.

I question your manhood. I prefer IC as my local beer of choice, but I grew to love Molson when I spent some time in Toronto a couple of years ago. I regret nothing of it.

Man, screw Molson, those dicks own like a quarter of the Canadiens and I refuse to drink it as a point of pride.

I question your manhood. I'll second that. I live in NH, and since they got their distro in Massachusetts, I thank Joe Pesci every day that I work in MA, with plenty of package stores on the way home.

Okay, so I'm guessing you all hate me, but here's my two cents:
If you really want to get people interested in WFWF, you need to start actually trying to sell people on it. Whenever it's mentioned it's just "Hey, join up." You want people excited, learn to pitch. Make a thread in "The Lounge." See if you can temporarily sticky a thread in all parts of the forum. There are people I know who have been on here for years and still have no clue what WFWF is. But, like I said, learn to pitch.
"Have you ever wanted to be a professional wrestler? Well, you can. Let your creativity and imagination shine in the WFWF. You can create an entirely new and unique wrestling persona for yourself, participate in federation-wide storylines or smaller personal ones, and, of course, work your way up to becoming a world champion.
"WFWF offers a unique spin on the classic idea of role playing mixing it with contests and creative writing. Each show, WFWF participants are told their opponents. They write the story of what happens outside of the ring and a promo about their upcoming match. The best written, most interesting, or sometimes just the most relevant role play is deemed the winner or the match. (And, if you're up for it, you can even write your own matches.)
"Think you have what it takes to be a champion? Find out in the WFWF.
"Get into character. Step in the ring. Only in the WFWF."
Cheesy? Sure. But at least people will know what they're signing up for.

It's the bottom of the card, but following this thread, you added two matches consisting of five either new or returning writers. Call it a success. No one is going to come on before a carded show and wait til the next Revolution to start playing. They get bored. You need to make these pushes the day results are posted. That's gonna be your ticket here. Those WWE games start their universe at the RAW the day after Wrestlemania. We have an easy week before the card for the kick off Revolution will go up, and you know it. The minute you post the results, get the word out in the Lounge with a link right to the show, 'cause holy sh*t guys, we just had this awesome show - look at all the work that went into it. We're really kicking here, and don't you want to be part of it? Of course you do. Pretty soon we're gonna have our regular show and that's where YOU debut. Sign up and we WILL get you on the card.
No one is gonna sign up today unless they already know they want to do this.
