It's Raw next week. You won tickets and flights on some website competition that looked a bit dodgy but turned out to be legit. The show opens with Vince coming out and decrying the fans for being little bitches about everything he does. He then says he's had enough rather ominously. He scans the crowd and points at you before shouting "Fat boy in the back row, you're the new owner of WWE!" You sign the paperwork and you now own the company just before WM30. What are the first 5 things you do, short or long term?
For me:
1. Ensure WM ends right i.e. Bryan lifting the belts to a chorus of Yes!
2. Bring back the 2 brand draft split. Make sure both shows are equal, starting with a draft on the Network on a special show after WM. The Authority inform Bryan that he has to give up one of the belts in one last attempt to screw him, and he drops the WHC to whichever brand he isn't on. The Authority (Raw GM) announce they have first pick and choose Bryan, much to his shock and anger. Heyman then comes out, announces that he is the SmackDown! GM, and has a surprise for his #1 pick - CM Punk! The draft then picks all the main roster guys, with the only guys left off being part timers (the explanation being their contracts allow them to brand hop as they choose). Every year just after WM there can be a draft where each brand brings up one or two guys from NXT, as well as a random pick or two from the opposing brand.
3. Move SmackDown! back to Thursdays. It was always much more at home then.
4. Change the PPV system. Now that we have the WWE Network and everyone gets every PPV anyway, I'd cut back to about 6 joint-brand PPVs a year - WM, RR, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, King of the Ring and another one - maybe Cyber Sunday to fit with the online theme of the network. In place of the other ones I'd have 6 rebranded, single-brand special events that aren't quite as big as the main 6 PPVs but can still have important matches that further/end a feud. Stuff like 2 feuds coming together in a tag team match, pick your poison (always thought that was a great concept with rivals picking each others matches) and other stuff like that. Also gives younger guys to main event a big event.
4.5. Related to that, I'd stop calling them 'PPVs', as no one is paying per view anymore. I'd call the smaller PPVs 'special event's, and I'd call the six big PPVs 'super-card's - that way they can be distinguished without the consumer feeling like they're getting 6 big events instead of 12 like they used to.
5. If Undertaker is up to it, lay the plans for him to go 25-0. Sting WM31, Hollywood Rock WM32 and Cena WM33.

1. Bring Back the brand split
2. Move Smackdown to Thursday and make it live
3. WWE, USA, and Internet title on RAW. World Title, IC Title, Cruiser Title on Smackdown. Tag belts can go on both shows, same with Divas
4. Turn Cena heel in two years if Bryan is, in fact, the face of the company.
5. Taker go 25-0. 22-0 vs Brock, 23-0 vs The Rock 24-0 vs Reigns 25-0 vs Cena

I really think Undertaker-Rock could be epic. How awesome would it be to see Hollywood Rock come back, bitch about the fans and say he's going to end their precious streak?

1. Hire people who know what the hell they're doing because I don't.
2. Mandate that commentators not be total jackasses.
3. Bring back the Undisputed title belt
4. Negotiate with new TV deal that Smackdown can air live on the Network on Tuesdays and be replayed on Fridays.
5. Find something for everybody to do (i.e. Bourne, Jackson, and whoever else is sitting at home collecting a paycheck).

1) Fire The Miz, Great Khali, Hornswoggle, Cameron, Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal
2) Call up new developmental talents to take their place on the roster
3) Give a product adults would want to watch
4) Get rid of random NXT names
5) Bang Emma and Rosa Mendes

1. Fund a developmental system OUTSIDE of NXT. It will be a feeder system FOR the feeder system. Where the road starts. NXT can't be the beginning of guys careers. This would be run almost completely independently of WWE, except when they need money for a new ring, for some nice banners, whatever.. They've got it. I think AIW is where I'd first offer the funding to. This would work twofold, as a feeder system to NXT and when there's guys that WWE wants but need seasoning before being exposed to the WWE audience, they go there. Briley Pierce would be the big example of this. He's grown SO MUCH since he LEFT NXT, that he hadn't in all of his time in WWE.
2. Follow TNA's business model. PPVs are a thing of the past. I'm cutting PPVs even further. Wrestlemania and Summerslam. That's it. Those will be the yearly PPVs. The WWE Network will gain a solid foundation of original programming now though. Royal Rumble in January, No Way Out in February, a Saturday Night's Main Event the weekend before Wrestlemania, Extreme Rules in April, King of the Ring in May, Battlegrounds in June, Judgment Day in July, a Saturday Night's Main Event the weekend before Summerslam, No Mercy in September, Halloween Havoc in October, Survivor Series in November with a Saturday Night's Main Event THE NIGHT BEFORE with singles matches that work into the Survivor Series feuds. With Survivor Series being on The Network, it'll be back to ENTIRELY 4 on 4 or 5 on 5 (since they can never seem to decide which). December would have it's own PPV as well as Tribute to the Troops. Hell in a Cell, TLC, Elimination Chamber, Money in the Bank, I Quit, Falls Count Anywhere, & Teddy Long Presents: WWE Tag Team Match will no longer be their own PPVs or events at all. Deliberately, there will not be an Elimination Chamber or Hell in a Cell match for a year or two. When they return, they'll return FOR A REASON. The title is in turmoil and there's five legitimate challengers. We're heading into Summerslam 2016 or 2017.. Elimination Chamber main events. There's been a lot of outside interference including someone climbing over the top of a regular cage. The only solution is to put a roof on it. Hell in a Cell.. And this will be a revised HIAC. There's not going to be a door. The participants enter, the cage is lowered, the cage is raised when the match is over. Money in the Bank is re-introduced to Mania.
3. The puppetmasters are bookers, not writers. This crap where the people most responsible for forming the shows coming from Nickelodeon and soap operas ends, right now. Dusty Rhodes is given one of the higher positions, Rob Naylor is re-hired and put in a position that matters. Terry Taylor, Jim Cornette, Tom Pritchard, guys like this will be the ones producing the shows. There will still be writers, yes. And those writers will be coming up with ideas and feeding them to guys like Dusty and Cornette, who'll filter it, edit it, and make it wrestling.
4. Merch. Why do all of WWE's shirts look so awful most of the times still? Get in touch with culture.
5. Live house shows. At the end of a tour, when the main match is no longer "on tour", the house show will be broadcast live on the WWE Network.

Hire Sting, go for Sting vs. Taker at WM and completely rebook the WM card.
Eliminate any PPV that isn't named Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble, Summerslam or Survivor Series and bring back KOTR.
Close diva division, fire them all except Layla and AJ and keep them as valets.
Get rid of US Title, and put the IC title on someone who can carry it to greatness (IE Ziggler) and make it important again.
Goodbye Ambrose. I wish you luck with your future endeavours.

1. Push Daniel Bryan as the guy, but keep Cena around. Cena just won't be winning any world titles, and eventually turn heel. Not immediately though.
2. Championships. Just one strap representing the WWE Championship. Make the IC Title important. Make Tag Titles important. Basically, keep the belts they have now, but make them important.
3. Get rid of the GM Concept. Have one commissioner that runs all shows. Perhaps somebody like Regal, HBK, or Stone Cold.
4. Get rid of gimmick PPVs. Bring back the 2002 schedule. Also, get the deal with Dish back.
5. Use Paul Heyman as head booker. Allow him to choose who's under him.

Buy out a small promotion such as PWG and use it as a developmental system that goes head to head with TNA iMPACT.

2. Follow TNA's business model. I follow little to no TNA but do they not do PPVs anymore? They've cut back to four per year I believe. They do major/special episodes of Impact to make up for it. 1. I'd hire Paul Heyman in some sort of creative position. I mean, I'd obviously hire a lot of people to handle the things I'm not equipped to do, but I've always felt that Heyman was a brilliant wrestling mind. I'd keep him away from the money handling though. 2. Re-establish the mid-card titles. Make it so that the Intercontinental Champion is not some throwaway Superstar but someone who looks like they could have a future. Have the belt always be defended on Pay-Per-Views. Have tournaments to determine number one contenders. Make it so the top mid-card Champion is considered a legitimate threat to whoever the WWE Champion is. Also, make sure the tag team and divas division are very good. 3. Have the commentators focus on the match and story and not getting themselves over. Watching nXt ArRival and just nXt in general every week is a beautiful thing and one reason is the commentary. William Regal makes you appreciate the little things in the ring, Tom Phillips is someone I really like and the other guys are good. 4. Do a brand split again and make Smackdown live. Smackdown should be just as must-see as Raw is and with it being pre-recorded it's not. Also, rarely does something major ever happen on Smackdown. Try to make the two shows as equal as possible. 5. No more meaningless transitional WWE Champions. If someone is going to get the belt he should be someone the company has faith in as a flag bearer. Nothing against these guys but no more situations like what happened with Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio, The Miz, The Great Khali (well, something against him), etc. If you're going to be the Champion, you should be someone who has staying power or is booked like someone who is the top guy in the company.

1. Put the Belts obn Bryan. The Next night on Raw Bryan gets a single Belt but with two new plates added to it one with a picture of the WHW Championship medallion and the other with the fixed position spinner medallion showing that this is now the new Undisputed Title belt and acknowledging that Jericho was the FIRST unified champion Not Randy Orton!
2. Have a Randy Orton vs Daniel Bryan rematch if Orton Wins (even by Countout or disqualification) Bryan can't seek the Title again. if Bryan wins the Authority has to stay "in the office" and stop involving themselves on TV.
3..Fire the Two GMs and Make Hulk Hogan the New Commissionor in the tradition of Sergeant Slaughter and Mick Foley
4. Have Zeb and Swagger turn on Cesaro making him Babyface
5. during the Orton/Bryan rematch Orton has the upper hand with Bryan outside the ring close to being counted out. the lights go out and when they come back on Orton is flat on his back and bryan is draped over him. The Ref counts the pinball HHH and Steph run out to the ring saying what the Hell etc.. the Shield suddenly appear back at the entrance raising their arms in the Yes movement. (not because they're part of it but because they've chosen to screw the Authority)

2. Follow TNA's business model. I follow little to no TNA but do they not do PPVs anymore? they do like 2 or 3 PPVs and then the rest are "PPVs". They're on PPV, but they have no storyline fodder and are just one off shows that've been pre-taped. Not saying it entirely makes sense, but done in a company not ran by chimpanzees, it could be successful

Okay, I'll bite...
1) Get rid of the US title by merging it with the IC title in a unification match. 2) Cut down on the use of part-timers. Undertaker continues once a year till he retires, but guys like Brock, Rock, etc, will be used once in a very blue moon. 3) Get Sting signed to some type of deal, even if it's just a HOF/Legends thing. 4) Use one belt for the WWE WHC - the Winged Eagle. 5) Make sure they always have a deal on the NBC Universal networks.

1. Print up pamphlets to be handed out at arenas to fans explaining why WWE can't just magic new TV deals for Smackdown out of thin air, and how broadcasting it live on Thursdays would not be profitable or necessary. On the back would be a survey asking them "In your six-month WWE Network membership, would you like that to include six live PPVs, or one?" 2. Resurrect the brand split and start a sweepstakes to see how long it takes people to flip-flop again and decide they want to end the brand split. Bob in accounting correctly wins the prize with his guess of "five and a half minutes." 3. Bring back the Cruiserweight title, then see how long it takes for people to complain that their favourite cruiserweights like Daniel Bryan are no longer in contention for the heavyweight titles. 4. Hire a witch, voodoo priest and genie to make Wade Barrett and Dolph Ziggler as popular as The Rock and Brock Lesnar so I don't need part-timers anymore. Except Chris Jericho and RVD, because moonsaults. 5. Hand it over to Triple H and Stephanie before I do even remotely as much damage as the other ideas in this thread would. 2. Follow TNA's business model.
